ROH last night
Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal beat Spanky (replacing the scheduled Steve Corino) and CM Punk. CM Punk had Jay Lethal set up for his Pepsi Plunge finisher, but suddenly, Stevie Richards came out and distracted Punk, then nailed him with a Stevie Kick. Jay Lethal then pinned CM Punk with his Dragon Suplex finisher.

Tell me I read that right and it's THE Stevie Richards and if it is how the hell can he be there?

Yeah, and apparently Richards is booked for more ROH dates in the future as well.

I wonder how the WWE feels about this? Richards isn't an announcer, so I don't think he has a deal where he's allowed to just work other shows. Maybe this is part of some odd deal that lets the WWE use ROh talent as extras on their show?

WWE does allow some workers to work for ROH on ocassion. The two companies have some sort of working relationship from what i understand, similar in the regard of what WWE had with ECW only not quite as strong.

Dreamer was in ROH a couple times, playing a part in the CM Punk/Raven feud.

If I were Stevie, I'd stay in WWE. He may not get a chance to shine, and he may cop a lot of the accidental slip-ups in the ring from either nervousness or just inexperience from new guys, but the WWE pay better, and rumours have it that Vince McMahon is a big fan of Richards.

There's also the ECW PPV coming up, so Richards has a chance to make some more fans there, and maybe launch himself into the Intercontinental Division.

Looked like a great show to me. Nice to hear about Big Stevie Cool's ROH Debut. I'm so pumped to see him out in Ashbury Park later this month. Anyone on these boards going?
