Deja Vu?
I've seen this before. Couple months ago. I wonder if Hogan actually thinks a run on the top would be anything less than a complete failture. |

yea, I read that the other day. What you don't see here is that Melzer actually said that nobody wants to see Hogan lose and that Hogan losing is not really good business. He compared Hogan to like a Flair/HBK/Foley, where people don't mind seeing "legends" like these losing, but Hogan is a different story. Every wants to see Hogan do his "routine" and then get the win.
Kind of see his point in one way, but it's tough to agree. |

WWE: We'd like you to work a program with Gene Snitsky.
Hogan: Who?! The Hulkster shouldn't be working programs with people out of his league, brother! WWE: But, we're trying to push new talent and it'd be great if you'd help put Snitsky over. Hogan: No way brother! Snitsky will never be in The Hulkster's league, brother! *Snitsky hears this walking by* Snitsky: IT'S NOT...MY...FAULT! |

I don't know. I think with Hogan, you get a short pay day eathier way. If he comes in and feuds with Austin/Piper/Hassan...etc.. and wins, people will pay just because it's Hogan again. Eventually it wears off though like two years ago.
If Hogan puts guys over, it will be a quick pay day once again because it's Hogan, but eventually if Hogan keeps jobbing, people won't want to see that anymore. |

That's why Hogan should only come in to put someone over (Hassan, Orton, Cena, or Batista) just like what Foley does.

With WWE's big ass revolving door, I'd be reluctant to put people over as well.

Typical Hogan...no surprise from here.
Then again, I doubt regular wrestling fans want to see Hogan lose consistantly. |

And how stupid it would be to have guys to job to him? I mean, you got an old man with bad knees and 3 moves beating guys who are younger, bigger, faster, stronger and simply much better. ![]() |

I think Edge and Hogan should work a program where Edge teams up with Hogan (this could easily be explained that Hogan talked to Edge and showed Edge how horrible he was being) then in a tag team match Edge turns on Hogan.
This leads to a match where Edge pins Hogan cleanly. Yeah that will never happen, but I'd love it. |

ok everyone seems to have a problem w/ Hogan winning all the time. However, I feel it would be detremental to his character if he came back to job.
If you feel this way about Hogan, how would you feel about Undertaker(WHOM EVERYBODY LOVES) jobbing every other match? It would destroy his character as it would Hogan. |

If this is true, then that's just sad.

His loss to Angle should of helped Angle, but it wasn't played up after the fact that Hogan submitted for the first time ever, sp that was more of a problem of follow-though than anything else.

Hogan should work a program with Randy Orton. Reason being, it'd be a safe loss for Hogan, and would boost Randy's Legend Killer gimmick. People would absolutely despise Randy for beating Hogan as a result. It would be just like Hogan and Rock. |
