Dam, haven't loved a band as much as them since Oasis in my hey days of 96. They are so god dam good. Like every song I hear of them is

Just ordered the album with my Barnes and Nobles Gift Card. Haven't ordered an album since "Something to Write Home About" from Get Up Kids. Dissapointed that my favortie song, Slow Descent, is not on the album though. Oh well. They are from Long Island, NY too. Represent.

Anyway, for those who like the band, what's your Fav. song from them?

Oh yeah, they fucking played here in NC in FEB and I found out like a week later. Pretty Pissed off moment there.

Yea they are great. I was dissapointed that Slow Descent didn't make the album as well. Fortunitly they played it when I saw them in February.

Yeah they are good. Seen them live a few times. The last time I saw them, though, it was awful. It was with Say Anything and Hot Rod Circuit. Basically went there to see Say Anything, but they fucking come on like an hour late and the guy says his throat hurts so they only play two songs. Then fucking Hot Rod Circuit played for like an hour and fifteen minutes. It was brutal. It was OK for the first half hour but then I felt like fucking killing people. By the time Straylight Run came on, everyone felt like leaving.

I've seen them live twice now. Problem with the album is that it sounds over-produced, especially if you compare it to the internet EP.

jeez, how long have they been around for? I only heard of them last year in July and it was because of a thread on here. They came to England twice already?

They have a new songs for an album already, so they'll probably be touring again.

They supported Brand New on tour here in Jan 04 and toured last month over here.

That is exactly what I thought, Existensialism is FAR FAR better on the EP.

Straylight Run are pretty awesome.

Yea, I see what you guys mean. I'm listening to samples from the album and some songs are a little different. i really saw a difference for "It's for the Best" That's my other favorite song from them and it was awesome off the internet. I guess the record label and whatnot had them change shit or whatever.

I have listened to a bunch of their shit, but wasn't really paying attention as to whether I liked it a lot or not.

Gotta agree with you there. While I prefer the album version of Existentialism, I think Mistakes We Knew We Were Making and The Tension And The Terror are far better on the EP. Still a great band, though. And I Also wish slow descent had made the album.

So I got the album yesterday and I've never once in my listened to an album all the way through more then once before and I have 3 times with them already. Every single song is great. There is a cool "special" video on the cd if you put it into your computer, which is basically a 20 minute video/documentary of them. They were in the studio playing, they were talking about the album, they were in a music shop, in a supermarket. Some funny lines too. Anyway, yea, they kick ass.

They said they were going to remake Slow Descent and put it on the next album. Dunno, the original is too much of an awesome song to change, especially when it changes tempo and just explodes at the end.
