Looking forward to anything next year?
So we've got the inevitable albums of the year topic, which suggests 2003 is pretty much done musically. But what about 2004? Any stuff you're looking forward to?
I'm pretty vague on who's working on albums right now, so for me album wise so far it's only the new Dillinger Escape Plan album and Converge's "You Fail Me", which seems to have been forever in the making. Possibly a new Mastodon album as well. Gig wise I can't wait to see Isis in March, and might while indulge the side of me with a soft spot for "pop punk" by going to see Thrice and Coheed and Cambria. You lot? |

New Clipse album New N*E*R*D album er.. something new with Nas on it probably Sean Paul to run out of album tracks and dodgy cameos to release as singles (probably will take longer than a year actually ) Several 2Pac albums that will probably be released after somebody "just found them" |

I really can't wait for Reading
Last year being my first year, I wasn't 100% sure of myself, but next year I'm gonna make sure I have an even better time, and also Mean Fiddler will hopefully pull their heads of their arses and get in some really decent talent this year, particularly as shares in the company have soared recently. |

Lots and lots of albums. Cool gigs like The Ataris, Drive Thru Tour, Brand New, Thrice and Coheed and Cambria, Funeral For A Friend.
Reading Festival Download Oh and winning the lottery to be able to go to these festivals would help. |

Slipknot's got a new album coming out, as well as Otep, Rammstein, Einsturzende Neubauten, Ministry, Revolting Cocks, and I think possibly Meshuggah. (Note to Sickboy, yeah Rammstein and Slipknot are definately releasing albums) Tenative tours from all those bands, plus I read about a U.S tour for Laibach that I'm interested in. Hoping Fear Factory will tour as well. And having read this thread, I guess I will be looking forward to more Testament, SOAD, Borknager, Iced Earth, Sinergy, annnnnnd I might go to the SF date on the upcoming U.S. Metallica tour IF it's not very expensive. What are the rumors on new Slayer material? |
