Pointing to the sky after a touchdown, or any other form of scoring

I was thinking about this last night, do you think it is disrespectful to do that? I mean its not like God favors one team over another, and i dont think players should do that. I dont think that they are being religious or anything when they point their fingers up to God, they are just showin off. thoughts?
