I know a lot of us have been wondering about whether or not another draft will take place and when. I was over on Rajah.com and I found this in the news headlines:

Latest Update On WWE Draft Lottery & When It Will Occur

-The WWE Draft lottery has become an annual event in WWE and it is expected that it will again take place. While it has not been confirmed, the rumors are that the draft will occur on the April 18th television taping in Madison Square Garden where both Raw & Smackdown! Superstars will be present. It is expected that the draft would draw a big rating no matter what date it occurs and with WWE going up against the NCAA Championship game this past Monday it was thought best to hold off on any announcements regarding the draft. We should learn more about the draft on the April 11th television taping.

YEA, heard this. And that's why I think they really didn't start up anything really new on Raw because they will be switching things up soon.

I think they realize, hopefully, that Smackdown needs a llittle help right now and they will fix it.

Like I mentioned before, they need to concentrate the the upper mid card-main event guys for the draft. They need some heels from Raw definately. Guys like Christian and Orton should go over. Guerrero is probably turning and maybe Show can turn heel. Then you can also bring over some faces from Raw, like HBK.

On Raw, maybe Smackdown can lose JBL if they bring over some good heels from Raw. Maybe RVD can also go to Raw when he comes back.

Also, what about Brock? Maybe he'll make a return to Smackdown in the future.

But anyway, it's just a matter of equality with both shows and I think they will makes some good moves come draft day.

Transfer Charlie Haas to Raw and give him the push he deserves. Make him hell and fight Shelton for the belt.

Transfer Randy Orton to Smackdown, he can then become a major player.

Transfer Heidenreich to Raw so he can fight on HEAT and then get released. Or maybe form a tag team with Snitsky.

Transfer Christian to Smackdown and he can become a main eventer.

I see in the trades to Raw by Haas, RVD, Big Show, and maybe Luthor Reigns. To Smackdown, I'd say HBK, Xtian, RKO, and hopefully Hurricane, maybe Edge.

And should Brock ever come back, I'd say Raw. It would be the Smackdown of old if he was there with Beniot and Benjamin and new fueds with Jericho and HHH and of course.... Snitsky.

I think that Smackdown! will be treated a bit better this year --- mainly because one of the reasons that the WWE stacked Raw was to up the ratings as it came closer to the Spike TV renewal date.

Now that that's over, and now that Raw is moving to USA Network, the WWE's next priority will be to keep Smackdown! on UPN. Part of that will be to increase Smackdown's ratings, which means at least one or two of the bigger Raw stars will have to move to Smackdown.

I see Shawn Michaels, Kane, and perhaps Marty Janetty making the move.

This is a thought They could do this to help the tag team division. Like what if they send La Resistance, Hurricane/Rosey, Regal/Tajiri to Smackdown? You would add 3 teams to Smackdown and with the Dudleys coming back you could have something going. Send Garrison Cade (Hell Yeah!) to Smackdown when he returns to team with Jindrak. Or not? Probably not.

Regardless of who changes and WHATEVER happens...

i just want Angle on Raw. I don't get Smackdown at my place (stupid cable) and i want to see him elsewhere than on PPVs.

I dont think the can afford to put Angle on RAW.

They already have HHH and Edge as the top heels on RAW, if you put Angle over there, that puts 3top hels on RAW and only Bradhsaw on SD. I like Bradshaw and all, but JBL v Cena will get really boring eventually.

Orton can obviously come to SD, but he wont be available for a few months, so they need to have some heels on SD in the meantime. I guess they could move HHH to SD, but I just dont see HHH going to the B team.

I kinda like the idea of trading Batista for Cena. That would be a huge deal, and its the easiest way to create a bunch of fresh matches.

Cena would have HHH, Edge and Orton on RAW.

Batista would have JBL (which has already been started, well kinda) and Angle, and possibly a returning Lesnar. Also faces like Taker and Show would make for good oppenents because they are all big guys, and you know Vince likes those hoss matches.

Cena is going to be doing a lot of mainstream stuff, and with RAW getting the USA deal, which includes some NBC specials, I could see them wanting to have Cena on RAW. Also, as has been said here a bunch of times, Cena's promos would benefit from being on cable after 10PM.

But that all seems likely given the fact that they'e been advertising the Backlash and Judgment Day main events.

Randy Orton to Smackdown. As a heel. Continue his fued with Undertaker til he finally defeats Taker. It should put him over strongly. Then maybe a Kurt Angle face vs Orton could be in the works. Angle putting him over. All this leading to Orton vs Cena at WM 22.

JBL to Raw. For the simple fact that JBL is still hot. His mic skills are about second to no one right now. He obviously need to stay in the Main Event scene and Batista is going to eventually need someone legit other then Triple H to continue his title run.

Chris Benoit to smackdown. A 3 month Angle Benoit fued would be nice. Havent seen them hook up in a year. Would probably get me to make Smackdown a priority to watch. If not for just 20 minutes to see a Benoit-Angle segment or match.

Kenzo Suzuki, Jindrak, Haas and Booker T to Raw.

Shawn Michaels,Christian,Flair ( thats right ), and i'm almost positive that Matt Hardy will be traded.

Also i think J.R will go to Smackdown and Michael Cole to Raw

Did they even mention the Draft last night? THey were too busy kissing Hogan's ass and giving HHH multiple appearances in the same show to mention it I guess.

YOu know, I'm suprised by that...You would think Hogan would push to have it mentioned. That way when the ratings go up because everyone wants to see the draft, he could pull a Hogan by saying it was because of his appearance. Then he'd come back for months on end and break my TV again. **


** Yet another reference to the time Hogan broke my TV. It worked fine for years. Then Hogan came on Raw one night. After 30 seconds of watching the most boring match of all time, my TV's screen shrunk to a single really bright dot. After a severe thrashing, I was able to return the screen to its normal size.....after the match was over and Hogan was off screen of course.

Doesn't look they are doing it now.

You would think if they were planning on doing a draft for Monday they would have mentioned it on SD at least, but nothing was said.

Also, I think SD is being taped before RAW on Monday in MSG, so it would be tough to do the draft when the results would be spoiled before the live show.

Ive heard they were thinking of holding it off until RAW moves to USA in Sept, which I guess makes sense.

Its not the worst idea in the world, because I think there are enough programs on RAW and SD to get them through Summerslam. But then after that, I think they'll definately need to mix things up.

Holding the draft off till the end of the summer might actually work out better. It would let them create some fresh matches closer to the end of the year and closer to Mania. I think this might be beneficial because there would be less time to run through the new match combinations before Mania.

Lets say if you have HHH or Orton go to SD to fued with Cena, they would have a better chance of keeping them away from each other, before pushing the idea of them doing a program at Mania.

The problem with moving that many guys is that you've got the same fueds lined up, just now they will be on the other show. Thats not a great way to create fresh matches.

I think they do need to move some top level talent, but you cant just say move everyone from RAW to SD and vice versa.

Like I said, I dont think the draft is happening for a while, so its hard to call right now. But the way I see it, both Cena and Batista will need new heels to work with after Summerslam. So one of Orton or HHH has to go to SD, and either Angle or JBL has to come back the other way. The other idea would be to do what they talked about before, which was to trade the champs, so Batista for Cena. That creates all new matches for both guys.

I would think SD could also use one of the mid card guys who is currently buried on RAW. Such as Jericho (heel turn), Benoit or Christian.

Then they could make a couple of other moves that would be designed to get guys in new places because they aren't going anywhere on their current show. The best example I can think of for this is Charlie Haas. I think a move to RAW, a short reunion of WGTT leading to a heel turn would be awesome for both him and Shelton.

I hope the WWE Draft will balance out the shows. RAW beats SmackDown by a long shot. While I won't speculate on who will/won't be traded[well, not too much anyway ], I will say people stuck-in-standstills on RAW[such as Jericho,Christian, or Kane] need to go to SmackDown DESPERATELY......

Kane hasn't had a decent feud since his feud with Shane-O-Mac, IMO. Although the Taker/Kane[@ WM 20] thing looked promising, it was nothing like their matches in '98. Kane is a big man who is agile and can both wrestle and entertain. He's decent on the mic and would overall benefit SmackDown. A former one-day WWE Champion. This is pathetic. If Kane's character is to regain any credibility, he must be put on SmackDown and made champion.

Christian would be a nice addition to SmackDown since he's currently stuck in amongst the mid-card shuffle on RAW. He hasn't won a title in so long, it isn't funny. Christian is hilarious at times with both his lines about his "peeps" and being "Captain Charisma", along with his occasional temper tantrums in the ring. I believe sending Christian to SmackDown and turning him face would work[seeing as Christian has NEVER been a face, his runs in the tag division have been heel w/Edge and his singles career has been as a heel]. A face turn would also allow Christian to showcase his ability more often and allow him to do certain things he cannot do as a heel.

And last, but, not least Y2J. Jericho is perhaps the most underrated wrestler in the WWE. His reign as Undisputed Champ[while brief] was good. Jericho has NEVER been given the chance to be champ as a face though. If Jericho went to SmackDown and remained face, became WWE Champ, we could then see how well he truly could be as champion. Jericho has also been rumored to be leaving the WWE once his contract expires this September. So, hopefully, the WWE will do the right thing by either sending Jericho to Smackdown & making him champ OR keeping him on RAW and making him champion. Either way, the days of Y2J may be numbered, which sucks .

There will obviously be trades to RAW. RAW is pretty much a flagship show, so, it doesn't matter who goes there. It will remain a good show, so, I won't say who I think should go there. SmackDown, on the other hand, needs work. SmackDown is the forgotten brand if you will[to borrow Dusty Rhodes's phrase ]. It would rule to have SmackDown & RAW both kickass shows as they both were back in 2002 when the original draft took place. Back then, the rosters were pretty much balanced and both shows offered their fair share of wrestling/entertainment. RAW WAY outshines SmackDown and I'm simply hoping the WWE will take notice and change it up....

If so, the WWE have made a big mistake. There's plenty of talent that can do much better on a different show.
