I got this stuff from an old magazine, the RAW December 2002 issue...

"The mask is as much part of Rey Mysterio's family's proud wrestling tradition as it is a oart of the Mexican Aztec tradition" - Subheading.

"I understand the thinking behind it. People thought I'd do a lot better with my face being out there because I'm not a bad looking guy. But it did affect me, though I didn't show it at the time. I felt like a big part of me had been taken away..." - In response to being unmasked in WCW.

Judging from this - I think he'll keep his mask.

The mask is a huge part of his character.

Unmasking a masked wrestler (even if they have been unmasked before) is a big deal.

Dr X has been retired for years and STILL wears his mask for his radio show.
