The Other Judgement Day Predictions League

Once again, I'm back. It's nearly half way through the year, and I just want to thank all of you for keeping my dream alive. I can post here all I want, but without your predictions, this league would be dead.

On to the predictions:

It's Judgement day, and do you know what that means? Yes, it will be so easy to make fun of the card that I should probably feel ashamed of myself after all of this is over, but it also means that it's time for our 2 month champ to defend his title again! Mr.RobertGoulet is a true predicting monster. His reign may only be starting out with 2 PPVs, but he came very close to having a perfect score both times. But another 2 time former champion has the title in his sights: Corndad has vowed another championship in the near future. Who will win this month? Perhaps YOU will!

The Rules:

1: Anyone can play. I base the championship off of a fighting champion basis. Each PPV you defend your title with honor.

2: THe points system for regular matches consists as follows: 10 points for a correct winner, and 5 points for the method of victory. And as always, I will only count the following responses for that extra 5 points. "CLEAN" or "PIN", "CHEATING", "INTERFERANCE", or "DQ". If you give me a more detailed response I will not give extra credit, and if I get the gist of what you're saying I'll accept it.(IE- "Taker wins via Tombstone" means that he'll have a clean victory) If you put nothing, I will default your response to a clean pinfall.

3: If there are any gimmicky matches, the points system will be detailed when I mention the match.

The Matches:

Orlando Jordan vs. John Heidenreich in a "So if they're just now getting around to explaining the whole 'Little Johnny' thing, does that mean we still have hope for 'I still remember'?" match

Haas and Holly vs. MNM in a "Hoo boy, let's have us a rookie ass raping free for all!" match... AKA the "One might think that Johnny Nitro should change his name since he's not Bischoff's gofer anymore...but then he'd probably end up with a gimmick of 'the man of a thousand names'." match

CCC vs. Show in a "Excuse me, you're eating that apple wrong...here, let me show you. Oh! Now you're eating that pizza wrong. Allow me to demonstrate. And here we have a gallon tub of ice cream. I'll just show you how one would go about eating that too...." match

Eddie vs. Rey in a "If you bought the PPV, you probably only did so because of this match....and we at the WWE will make sure you leave disappointed." match

Booker T vs. Angle in a "I don't know about this...I mean I know you want to be on TV just this once, but Creative has a way of fucking things up, you know?" match.

John Cena vs. JBL in a "'I QUIT....watching wrestling forever!' is what you'll say if you bother buying this PPV" match

Nothing too gimmicky this time. I was considering letting you guess where "I Quit" is uttered or How long the match is, but I figure I might as well not even bother.

Not many matches with this one, which means there's a possibility for a tie. Tie breakers come in the form of a lightsaber duel to the death.

MNM clean via opponent miscommunication (Holly accidentally ass rapes his own partner. "Sorry! You just look like such a rookie!")

Show cleanly

Guerrero via cheating

Booker T via interference (Sharmell distracts Angle by flashing him.)

Cena cleanly.

In case I'm in the tie, I choose to use one of those curve handled red sabers like Dooku has.

Heidenreich. Don't know how, but he wins.

MNM. Holly and Haas won't win it. And Holly won last week, so they'll probably job him on Sunday.

Big Show. Morgan will have a turkey.

Mysterio.

Booker T. He'll win it by beating Angle with the Banzai Drop. No, he'll pin him after the axe kick.

Cena. I predict that JBL will hit Cena with a cheeseburger, Cena will eat it, then tickle JBL to death until he quits.

Isn't there a third choice? None of the above? I'm going to go against my gut and say that OJ retains here via interferance

Haas & Holly vs MNM
MNM retain by Melina interfering in the match.

Big Show vs Carlito w/ Matt Morgan
Carlito thanks to his new problem solver...errr... I mean his "back up", Matt Morgan.

Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero
Mysterio cleanly

Booker T vs Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle cleanly

John Cena vs JBL
Cena will retain cleanly

Okay, here's my predictions.

The Matches:

How: Finisher.

Haas and Holly vs. MNM:
Winners: MNM.
How: Melina distracts either Haas or Holly, then MNM do there finisher.

Carlito vs. Big Show:
Winner: Carlito.
How: Interferance from Matt Morgan.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner: Eddie Guerrero.
How: Frog Splash, pin then a brutal assault.

Booker T vs. Kurt Angle:
Winner: Kurt Angle.
How: Sharmell distracts the ref by accident, then Angle chairs Booker T over.

John Cena vs. JBL:
Winner: John Cena.
How: JBL quits after John Cena keeps FUing him.

Orlando will retain due to interference from the Bashams, well one of them as the other doesn't want to take orders anymore and gets involved in a fight between which OJ tries to break up but Hiedenrape rapes them all. OJ to retain with a cheaky roll up after little Jonny is distracted.

MNM to retain after Haas is distracted by Melina. Holly mistakes Haas for a rookie and beats him up. Or shouts at him and Haas walks off. who cares.

Show cleanly after chokeslamming both CCC and morgan.

Match of the night. Both bleed like they're HBK in a street fight. Eddie to win after a stalled brainbuster on something....spanish announce table sounds good.

Kirk Angel will win after Sharmell botches interference and slaps Booker. Angle then takes Sharmell off with him.

Cena will win after whipping JBL with that stupid towel that JBL has round his neck when he comes out, like he's in the showers at school again. Nah, Cena will choke him with his chain til he gives up.

edit: stupid WWE adding matches at the last minute.

Chavo will cheat (surprisingly enough) to win. dont think he's done the feet on the ropes one for a while so that'll do for tonight.

Don't worry about it Mr.RG... it's easy to forget about the Smackdown PPVs.

ALSO: New rule!!! Whenever the retards at the WWE decide to add a match without bothering to advertise it (which is very similar to some stupid things WCW did before they went out of business. But that's another story....or is it?) I will accept it as extra credit worth an additional 10 points total instead of the usual 15.

This time, I accepted Thuglife's correct response and gave him the full 15 points.

Our totals are given below:

Normally I'm not the type of guy to quote someone with cheesy catch phrases like the Rock, but... "Just Bring It!" and while we're at it I would like to add, "You want some? Come get some!"

Ok, now that I've talked some smack I will probably get the lowest score in Other Predictions Thread history.

Speaking of the next "Other Predictions" ppv... the next ppv is the "One Night Stand" ECW ppv. TS6, are we doing predictions for that ppv? Is my first title defense going to be a ppv that has almost no storyline build up?
