Bret Hart

I know this total idiot who thinks the Hitman " wearing pink tights to wrestle men is girly... "
I'd like to prove him wrong.
So I'm here to ask the reason Bret, or Vince, chose those colors.
When did he start wearing them?
I'm guessing at the start of the Hart Foundation with Jim Neidhart..?

This is a complete guess, but when most people draw hearts, they colour them in pink or red. Seeing as his name was Hart, they went with the pink. Keep in mind that I'm just guessing.

One day Bret and Jim were in the cafeteria eating some food with the boys and they were wearing pink. Vince came up to them and walked around them a couple of times and he said "That's it, that's what's missing from you guys. From now on, you guys wear pink tights."

That's the total truth

That is the total truth, I recall reading that from a book.

Besides the Pink and Black attack is awesome. If ever someone says you're a chick for wearing pink, that may be true, but Bret was man enough to pull it off, as were the Harts.

It's scary that Pink seems to be the new black in all the high streets this year. What's all that about? I for one wouldn't been seen dead in pink

I always wanted a black polo shirt with the Hitman's heart/skull/wings logo embroidered on the left breast - but I doubt this will ever be available

BACK TO TOPIC: I remember watching WWF with my dad when I was 8 or 9. He wasn't a fan, but watched it with me for a bit of 'father/son quality time'. I don't remember what event it was, but it was sometime in 1992 or 1993. I remember him saying that Rick 'the Model' Martel looked a bit girly because he was wearing pink trunks but when Bret Hart came out wearing a black singlet and pink tights, he said he thought he looked cool!

Do you guys remember what book that bit about the cafeteria was in? It sounds familiar. Was it in Pure Dynamite?
