Smackdowns ending was way better (Spoilers ok)
Smackdown's ECW ending was much better then Raw's.

For one, Michael Cole did like a thousand times better then calling the whole thing then JR did. Cole actually said the names of Rotten and Balls. I don't think JR even new who they were. I'm surprised JR didn't call Axl "Brian Knobs" On Raw it really came off like JR had never watched any thing related to ECW in his life. Doosh.

The Taz thing was real cool too. He came charging down and I liked how he didn't "touch" Angle at all.

Well Smackdown's ending really left ECW on a high note and made me a lot more pumped for the PPV, which I still am debating about geting or not.

Yeah tazz came out like a maniac and this ending had a more ECW feel.

Yes, I fully agree with what you said. Hell, Heyman and Tazz just made it even better.

I never thought I hear the "GORE!" again. And yeah, I marked out like mad when shit went down and it's been awhile since I did that to a SD! show.

yeah, i have never seen anything this good on smackdown in a LONG time

it was sweet.. i've never watched ecw before and i don't even know who these guys are, but i love all of them now, and can see why so many people loved ecw (even though this probaly isn't even the half of it)

Haering Heyman call the Gore made me wish he was a permanent commentator again.

They should fire Lawler again and replace him with Heyman, his chemistry with JR was great.

Yeah, the Eddie/Bentoit thing was greatness. Eddie was greatness. He just looked like such a heel. By just standing there you could tell... "this guy is evil".

If they centre Smackdown around Bentoit/Eddie/Angle they could make it the goods again.

Kurt beat up Tazz which meant he had to be helped to the back. Then Paul Heyman, who brings the ECW guys to the ring, replaces Tazz on commentary. Benoit and JBl wrestle and then it all results in a big fight involving Sandman, Dreamer, Rhyno and Benoit fighting the Smackdown guys and then Tazz's music hits and out he comes with Rotten and Mahoney and he puts the Tazzmission on one of the Basham's. ECW clear the ring and then have a face-off with the WWE guys like they did on Raw.

Was thinking that myself on Raw. When they appeared from the stands and JR was yelling "It''s Tommy Dreamer! The Sandman! Rhyno!" then he see's Mahoney and Rotten and it's like he's thinking "who the fuck are those two" and then he just says "ECW is here"

Heyman's GOOOOOORRRRE!!!!!! was totally awesome.

The one weird thing was hearing MICHAEL COLE say "And if Angle comes near Tazz on Sunday, mark my words, he will be JUST ANOTHA VICTIM!!"

It's not the same when someone not named Taz(z) says it.

I marked out like crazy at the end of RAW and I marked out even more at the end of Smackdown, especially when Tazz came out to his old theme. The main reason I watch Smackdown is because I've been waiting for Tazz to go old school. Sadly it probably won't last, after the ECW PPV he'll probably go back to being a commentator but atleast we got to see the old school Tazz again. I never thought I'd mark out on RAW and Smackdown in the same week again (it's been ages since the last time) but it happened. It was awesome seeing Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman too. If only Raven, Sabu, and Shane Douglas had been there too as part of the ECW troops. But then I would have been shitting myself like that Banana dude.


By the way, Did Anybody besides me think that Heyman should have been wearing his trademark ECW baseball cap? Without a hat he looks like the "agent" Paul Heyman, the "ECW owner" Paul Heyman always wore a baseball cap.

Just a little thing, but I marked out at Balls and Axl's chairs having writing on them. Especially at Balls' "This is going to hurt" chair. Nice old-school touch.

I was really hesitant about ordering the PPV, but RAW and SD both did phenomenal jobs of making me geek out all over again, so I will most certainly be getting it. Well...getting the replay to watch after the Pistons/Spurs game...

I think Cole did a great job acting so shocked when Angle attacked Tazz. It seemed as if he was for-real pissed at Angle. It wasn't the same victim saying without the man behind the saying actually uttering it, but I think Cole should've said it, only to show how pissed he was at Angle attacking him.

And Heyman is ten times better than the King, hands down.

That ewas the best closing Smackdown had had in months. First off, the match itself made Benoit look like a fucking champ. People were insanely hot for him. Then, the finish where Angle came out and Benoit was just like "Fuck fighting this texan nancy-boy, there's the real target" gave me hope (oh please oh please oh please) for an Angle/Benoit program down the line. Then, the ring invasion by the ECW people. Superb.

It was all topped by one sound.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEP

Flatline. The Human Suplex machine is back.

Cole was fine when Angle attacked Tazz (tho slightly comical in his "panic") but at the very end when he said "just anotha victim" was definitely weird. I agree that Cole was pretty awesome. It just sounded funny, since it's Michael Cole.

That's sad if you only watch a show for one person, that's kinda disrespectful to guys lik erm, Benoit, Angle, Eddie..etc, don't you think?It's alright to have favourites, but to only watch a show to see one wrestler must make it boring surely?

Anyhow, it was a great show, even though it had no title. Which was kinda odd. But the ending felt so much better especially with Heyman commentating, he put over Rhyno so much better than JR did. JR and Lawler should start taking notes now.

The eddie/benoit segment was cool, and i'm hoping for a eddie/benoit feud now after the eddie/rey one has finished. And then we can have Angle v Rey aswell, providing Angle doesn't go to raw. I can see some positives now for smackdown after this draft, hopefully smackdown gets a tag team aswell to build up the tag team division abit more.
