Old Game Not Working On New Computer
I get this message when I try to install an old game (Knights & Merchants):

Try looking on google to see if anyone has any cracks or patches for it, may not be updated to run on xp.

Windows XP has settings to allow you to play a game as though on a prior operating system. While it doesn't always work, try setting the option for it to Win 9X or whatever it was originally supposed to beon.

Ah, easy one to fix. Navigate to
C:\WINDOWS\repair\ and copy the file "autoexec.nt" from there and paste it into C:\WINDOWS\system32\ Its a service pack 2 thing for security to stop some older dos apps from running. |
