I've never seen the actual move preformed, I've only seen it in video games. God damn that's dangerous.

Last time I saw action remotely like that in WWE was 2000.

Watching Scott Steiner do those lame-ass substitutions for his true finisher when he came into WWE really hurt his character IMO. Jerry Lynn was similar (Tornado DDT? GTFOHWTBS)...

That finisher + Scott's WCW persona = GOLD.
It was comparable to the days when HHH was heel GOLD.

Yeah, I remember when the WWE wasn't pussy. I remember when it was a shock that the older wrestlers wanted Jericho and Helms to tone it down because they were too "stiff" (Translation: We can't handle these rough moves), and there were some sick finishers.

It was about the point when politics finally killed off entertainment and the guys at the top stayed at the top, despite being old and fatigued. And you know the funny thing?

The WWE "soft" wrestling style really ....really sucks. You don't know how pissed off I was to see Benoit doing a lame shoulderbreaker in a PPV match against Eddie Guerrero from the Tombstone position...Shelton (and HBK of all people) sneak in some of the good spots, but for those that are capable (this means, I don't expect to see The Big Show doing planchas and crap), they should be allowed to do what they want in the ring. The pussification of the WWE in-ring product has become painly obvious in the "HHH" era (2002-present).

But I can see where a move like that would be limited, because there are a lot of things that can go wrong. Still, you shouldn't tone it down to what they have today.

Didn't work right for me. I downloaded the whole thing but the clip is only 6 seconds long and it doesn't even show him do the move, as soon as he gets Owen up in the air it stops.

Yeah, The Steiners were an awesome tag team - and Scott was a great talent before he ballooned himself up on steroids. After that he just became slow, clumsy, blown up, and talentless....or he turned into Kevin Nash

give the guy some credit. he introduced the huricanrana to american audiances. the guy was a jacked up freak, but when he was atop wcw he was THE man. wwe never watched Big Papa Pump in wcw or they would've NEVER made him a face. As a heel he didn't have to play the killer freak in the ring, because he mostly got beat up the whole time, then in the last 3 min he would unleash hell. Big Papa Pump was born to be a heel. wwe killed that. I was really hoping they wouldn't make that mistake with him, but of course they did.

The WWE makes that mistake with A LOT of their wrestlers, both their own and newly signed. A great example would be Orton.

The real tragedy is that Scott basically ended up doing the steroids to bulk up in order to protect himself after his back got injured. He just kept putting on muscle. And ironically when he was an incredible athlete he was considered the dull Steiner brother. But the 'Roid rage turned him into such a dick backstage that the WCW staff couldn't help but push him as a major heel.

So he was doing stuff like shooting on Ric Flair at live events and picking fights with DDP and getting the biggest push of his life, but he'd been a shell of his former self for at least a decade.

So if you could combine his skills when he was young with his persona when he was at WCW, then he's a legend. Oh, and as far as his WWE run: get over it....the WWE squashed his character when they saw that Steiner was basically a cripple and shouldn't even be in the ring, much less in the main event. A healthy BPP would've been a major star in the WWE. His "Peaks & Freaks" character was a natural for RAW. It was just too late for him.

Watching Scott Steiner do those lame-ass substitutions for his true finisher when he came into WWE really hurt his character IMO. Jerry Lynn was similar (Tornado DDT? GTFOHWTBS)...

That finisher + Scott's WCW persona = GOLD.
It was comparable to the days when HHH was heel GOLD.
