Anybody else like "Banquet" by Block Party?
This song is pretty hot. I kept hearing it on the radio and I finally got the name so I downloaded it. People ususally don't post much about this "style" of music so I dunno if you guys are down with it or what.

Anybody know anything else good by them? Or just like it?

Think I downloaded Banquet around Christmas 2003 the first time. It's been around a long time, but yeah they haven't got another song that comes close to being as good. The Answer was my other favourite but it never made the album.

After reading all your posts I don't think I will like any of their other shit. I dunno they just seem like that type of band to me, where I like their one big single or whatever and don't really like the rest of their shit.

I just listened to The Answer again. Real good song. I think Bloc Party's best work is ahead of them definitely. They'll grow the balls to do something a bit more ambitious and loose.

i don't know. for the most part they sound like any band you'd see in a pub to me. they have moments that hint that they might come good though.
