recoding vcr to dvd

When i capture the video in to my computer, all it does is loop when i play it back. How do i solve this?

how long is the loop for? What software/hardware are you using. Details man!

I'm useing ATI all in wonder 7500. It loops the first two or thre frames. Oh ya and it is mostly disney movies.

so do other movies work?
It could be the copy protection they put on retail Tapes.

Most other tapes work. Is thare a way around the protection ?

well it took some time but I got it. It was a copy protection on the tapes.
