TNA on Spike TV
I didn't see a thread about this, so here it is. They got the TV deal and are expected to start either on 10/1 or 10/8. They will do tape two episodes of Impact on Tuesday, and tape every other Tuesday. They are expected to air after UFC in Velocity's old spot.

Are they paying for the time-slot as rumored earlier?
Because if they are, this isn't exactly good news for the company. To summarize...no gate, essentially paid commercial time on Spike's late night block, minimal revenue from sponsors, minimal exposure.....and basically expecting to survive off of PPVs. Wow. This could end up like ECW on TNN..where the show was actually bleeding them dry. That said, they did get a new distribution deal for their DVDs...instead of website-only sales. If handled right, that could help. |

About time I can watch the latest episodes of TNA in Canada. Watching the older chopped up PPVs on ESPN Classic Canada gives me headaches. Y'know, when they reference things that haven't happened yet. Or don't happen at all. Makes it tough to follow storylines. Reminds me I haven't had the chance to watch in a while...
