The Other GAB Predictions League

Hello and welcome back to the Other Predictions League, Others. Congrats again to Corndad for his third title victory. I'm glad our champs are actually wearing their belts with pride. I'll update the title history on sunday, but without further ado, lets start with the rules.

The Rules:

1: Anyone can play. I base the championship off of a fighting champion basis. Each PPV you defend your title with honor.

2: THe points system for regular matches consists as follows: 10 points for a correct winner, and 5 points for the method of victory. And as always, I will only count the following responses for that extra 5 points. "CLEAN" or "PIN", "CHEATING", "INTERFERANCE", or "DQ". If you give me a more detailed response I will not give extra credit, and if I get the gist of what you're saying I'll accept it.(IE- "Taker wins via Tombstone" means that he'll have a clean victory) If you put nothing, I will default your response to a clean pinfall.

3: If there are any gimmicky matches, the points system will be detailed when I mention the match.

4: Whenever the retards at the WWE decide to add a match without bothering to advertise it (which is very similar to some stupid things WCW did before they went out of business. But that's another story....or is it?) I will accept it as extra credit worth an additional 10 points total instead of the usual 15.

Christian vs Booker T in a "How many times does Sharmell go back to the buffet line?" match


Animal and Heidenreich vs MNM in a "Losers have to choose which tag partner will die next" match.


Melina vs Torrie in a "It's on the card, so yes, you do have to predict it...no matter how crappy it is." match.


Eddie G. vs Rey M. in a "I'll expose you're secret (fake eye color) to your son if you don't let me win....er...I mean don't beat the crap out of me (?)" match


Muhammad Hassan vs Taker in a #1 contenders "Seriously, is Russo back?" match.


Orlando Jordan vs Benoit for the US championship in a "Might as well have been a Taboo Tuesday "make 'em up as we go along" card with the hype we put into this one..." match


JBL vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Belt in a "Winner gets the belt and the privelage to wear the Uncle Sam costume til Summerslam" match.

Ok, I'm determined to win this time.

I've been tossing this one about for a few days now and I think I've got a general idea of what the bookers are thinking, and since it's Sunday and I'm so horrible at picking, I'll assume that nobody's going to copy my logic so I'll explain why I made my choice also.

How:Clean....If I were booking this and I had a big 4 coming up, I wouldn't want to bring in a new champ for SS. Nobody's going to expect JBL to get his come-uppance after only a month.

US CHAMPIONSHIP.
Chris Benoit V.S. Orlando Jordan.
Winner: OJ
How: Interferance.... There was hardly any buildup to this match, so I wouldn't expect anything drastic to happen to the title. Benoit wasn't portrayed as being better than OJ because he was never really compared to OJ. Changing the title would give the title less value.

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP.
Animal and Heidenreich V.S. MNM.
Winner: MNM.
How: Cheating... I seriously don't think they're going to give the titles to Animal. His contract probably only extends to GAB to hype his DVD. MNM will put Animal over but still take the win.

Undertaker V.S. Muhammed Hassan.
Winner: Taker
How: Clean... SS is a big 4, so I'd expect them to hype the hell out of Taker vs. Batista.

How: Clean... Booker T doesn't have any real direction after this feud. CHristian will be moving on to bigger and better things and to do that he'll need a win in his previous feud.

How: Clean... Knowing the WWE and Torrie's character, they'll try to give us a "gift" with this one. Melina will lose cleanly, then Torrie and Candice will strip so we get to see all 3 of them in their bras that are no smaller than the shirts they were wearing earlier.

How: CLean.... Everybody's expecting an Eddie win here, but Eddie will lose and tell the secret anyway (he lied when he promised to lock it away). With this secret, we may see a new direction in Rey's character.

How: DQ....Tough call here. One team has a shakey future in the company, the other doesn't have the charisma and mic skills of Richards and Nova. My best guess is that it'll boil down to the bWo getting desperate and unloading a shitload of "ECW" hardcore stuff (probably the only reason the WWE bothered to bring them back) and getting themselves DQ'ed. Mexicools come out looking like the better wrestlers, while the bWo comes out looking like hardcore badasses who are destined to make a dent in the industry.

Seriously, everybody here had the right idea with their predictions...everything was logical, but when I added up the scores there were more zeros on it than there are in Bill Gate's paychecks. It was all luck, and you're all brilliant predictors (much better than the "official" guys...)
