Hogan's Greatest Feud

Over the years, Hulk Hogan has battled numerous wrestlers in many different feds. Who do you consider to be his greatest feud?

There, not hard to put it in your own words and make your own poll.

Andre imo. Not so much for a fued just because of his size and weight and all the bs backstory they put into it, never been slammed hasn't lost a match in 15 years or whatever. Made him out to be a big threat even though at that stage of his career he was pretty immobile.

It's the Andre feud. Not only was the first match epic in every sense of the word, it was an incredible draw and the build-up even crossed over and was mentioned in mainstream media. Then there was the build towards the rematch on Saturday Night's Main Event, where they had the bizarre Hebner twins referee twist, which led to the third match at WMIV.

After that, they headlined house shows for months. Even though the Hogan/Savage matches might've been better and their feud went on for decades and is a real life rivalry, there was just nothing bigger than Andre/Hogan in the 80's. It was like Cetics/Lakers or Mario/King Koopa.

For me it's a tie betwen Hogan/Andre, Hogan/Savage and Hogan/Sting. The build up of his feud with Sting was just so amazing, maybe one of the greatest things WCW ever did.

Piper. It lasted the longest, he was the main heel in the 80's, and was Hogans main adversary for a lenghtier time than most.
When I think rock'n wrestling of the 80's, you gotta think Hogan/Piper.
Oh yeah, and Hogan couldn't pin Piper's shoulders to the mat. He beat Andre, when Andre was basically dying, sad to say, and couldnt even move. That affected the matches between them imo.

For me it's Hogan/Sting like Disturbed said the buildup of that feud was amazing.
I'm ignoring the fact that the match was terrible though.

I would consider Hogan/Sting more if the pay-off match wasn't such a stinking pile of shit. But yeah, incredible build-up.

Like I said in the other thread: Hogan vs Piper.

When you say to me, name Hogan's greatest foe, I'll always say Piper. The two were like day and night. Piper was always bickering about Hogan, even when the feud wasn't Piper/Hogan. Their feud did great numbers, drew huge crowds and spawned over a decade.

Hogan/Savage is probably the greatest money making feud of all-time (next to Rock/Austin) and definately one of the greatest angles of all-time as it took a year to play out. Talking about the Mania 5 match.

Yeah, the eventual match it self was a pile of wank. WCW used their greatest feud at the time to take a quick shot at the WWF. But the build up is what made the feud so great.

I'm partial to the Slaughter fued, as that's when I got into wrestling for the first time...but I don't think it really deserves a vote. And then I'm also partial to the Sting fued...but I don't think it really deserves a vote either. So...I'm just going to sit this one out.

The Andre fued was the top, at that time Andre was a threat, heck 93,000 fans buying a ticket to see that match is worth something isnt it? When Andre turned heel in the Pipers Pit, I remember everyone crying and in shock... strong stuff.

2nd would be Hogan-Piper and the whole Rock n Wrestling saga, heck even when it was a cartoon who was Hogan's number 1 enemy, Piper.

3rd, I personally liked the Savage-Hogan feud, seemed so real at the time with the whole Miss Elizabeth thing

But my votes goes to Hogan-Andre

I said other meaning Earthquake because that was the first major feud I recall when I got in. A sentimental pick.
