The Rock at WrestleMania 21

Hey, I just bought and watched WrestleMania 21, I am curious, since it was a big hollywood show, Why did they not even include The Rock?

I think at the time The Rock's contract was over and he hadn't signed another one, plus I heard he and Vince weren't talking.

That's pretty much it. He wanted to do something, they had no plans and by the time they wanted him, he had other commitments.

inspite of being in hollywood wrestlemania 21 did not starr hollywood hogan in any matches then who is rock?
