The Taylor/Woodrow San Jose Grand Prix

Yeah, so there's going to be this race in my backyard (well, not literally of course), a Champ Car Grand Prix. I didn't think Champ Car was all that popular, but shit, the city is pulling out all the stops to promote this thing. They have festivals going on downtown and they're even going to close off a nearby freeway so people can stand on the side of the freeway and watch the race. Even though the race is on Sunday, they've been having fanfare shit since like Wednesday. I don't know, it's pretty cool. This is like the biggest thing to ever happen to San Jose.

So naturally, I will be attending the event. Getting to watch it from an office building that is pretty near the start/finish line, for free; food and drink free as well (or so I believe).

So to include everyone else in on this, does anyone watch Champ Car or even know what the fuck it's about?
