Wrestler's "Career" Moment

I think this should really be done as a "Day 1" "Day 2" thing, but I think everyone is sick of those threads by now. Anyway, here's the deal. I'm gonna list a wrestler and everyone say what you think was that particular wrestlers "career moment." in wrestling. What I mean by that, is what was there defining or best moment of thier career in your opinion. It will be interesting to see how people view certain moments over others.

Wrestler 1:The Rock

I think the one moment that stands out to me as being Rocks greatest moment was at Summerslam 98 when he lost his IC Title to HHH in a ladder match. I know most of you are probably like, "wtf," but it was during that match where the people really saw someone/something special in the Rock and they started to accept him as a great entertainer ad worker. I loved all the "Rocky" chants during the match as he was the biggest heel at that point.

Yeah I'd have to go with then also. It was after that moment that he became a serious threat and a top player.

Agreed. Summerslam 98 was a high point for The Rock. I would have said Survivor Series '98...but ...that was a rehash of the Survivor Series of the previous year. Wouldn't have happened or worked out the way it did had Rock's momentum really not started to catch on 3 or so months earlier. The fans were really ready to buy Rock as a face. (Note, my favorite period of The Rock came right after that PPV...)

On the subject of Summerslam 98, the crowd did have some interesting allegiances. D'Lo was getting pops and chants from the fans...

I would say the Rock-Hogan match was his top moment, gotta be. Other then that maybe his first Title win at Surv. Series where they screwed Foley

The series of the matches with Foley in early 1999 really put him over in my eyes. He turned from a lucky SOB who was given the World title into a genuine badass and worthy contender for the belt

The moment for me that just stands out in my mind as the greatest thing to happen to The Rock's career, I know this sounds really weird, but I am going to go with WrestleMania 2000. The Rock lost the main event against Triple H, but it was during that that Rock became THE guy. I mean during Attitude it was all about Steve Austin, after Survivor Series '99, it was kind of Rock'N'Sock as far as the big faces go, but after Foley was eliminated at WrestleMania, that cemmented it. The Rock was the face of the World at the time. Think about it, for the entire next year it was ALL about Rock. Rock/Hunter, Rock/Angle, Rock/Benoit, etc. Up until WrestleMania X-Seven Rock I think was still more over then Steve Austin, it was during that time period that The Rock became the biggest thing in Sports Entertainment...dare I say bigger then either Hogan or Austin were...

All of those are great moments, and stuff that defined The Rock, but 2000 was his crowning year, IMO.

As The One said, there was WrestleMania 2000. Then he went on to have a GREAT feud with Triple H. This is when The Rock peaked in popluarity, and when he graduated from being a high-ranked wrestler to being an ICON.
