Loose Cannon aside, anyone get odd contacts re: wrestling?
I know the TPWW staff/news folks get shit. I just got some random AIM from someone, obviously a Cena fan from the name, who asked me if I KNEW John Cena. Odd shit.

Now they could have meant do I know who he is, but this is the only site where my AIM info is posted. It sounded more like I was being asked if I knew John Cena. Odd, I think to myself...Do I come off as a wigger?

Anyway, anyone else get weird shit related to rassling?

When I wrote columns, I often got emails from people telling me I need to write certain angles for Vince McMahon like I worked for WWE.

Also got a guy asking me for a copy of a match I had with Chris Candido at IYH: Beware of Dogs (where the lights went out for like 2 hours on PPV) even though it was a blatant parody.

When I used to write columns, I'd get e-mails similar to what Rob described. I think a lot of columnists do.

Also, after I posted the articles about my experience in running a (very) small promotion, I got e-mailed by two friends who wanted to enter my fed as a tag team. They were disapointed when I told them the promotion dies over two years ago, and that it was written in the article. I guess they didn't read it entirely.

Someone seriously sent me a message on MSN asking me if I was Mick Foley

I think it started when a mate of mine had his own wrestling site which he deliberatly filled with useless information and lies to see if anyone would believe him, and he put my old MSN address as Mick Foley's email. It was pretty funny having some kid asking me all these questions about how Colette and the kids were.

Actually thinking about it.....its kinda freaky.
