WWE.com-only matches now?
First we get a WWE.com-only promo (Hassan just before his demise), now we get an Internet-only match:
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/vid...8vicstacybonus I'm betting this was a dark match, either after or before RAW, maybe meant for Heat but eliminated due to time restrictions. Pretty interesting: not the match, but the fact that women's wrestling is no longer good enough for television. |

It was originally scheduled for RAW, but they bumped it for some reason, so I guess they want to give us the match that EVERYONE was disappointed about missing on RAW.
The only reason the Hassan promo was shown on WWE.com is because he was banned from UPN. I believe that they actually filmed it during SmackDown!. |

Was that after the London tragedy? Makes sense not to show it on television but then allow people to download it freely anyway. Sick bastards

Women atheletics don't sell. If they did, the WNBA would be a huge success, with the followup divisions a-flying. No, women sell. Hot women. Which is why people obssess over some of the shittiest tennis players...Because they're like...HAWT. |

Women's basketball and women's wrestling are two completely different things. In your example, why not compare the NHL to WWE? If NHL was bad enough to be cancelled for a season, why not WWE? Blah, I just made sense.
But serously, women's wrestling was good, even if just for variety. Cruiserweight matches, tag team matches, the whole shtick, I want all of it included, if only for variety. I'm getting sick of handicap squash matches involving the Big Show and burying talented people such as Christian. This all boils down to the general [lack of] direction of WWE. |

And another thing: I've said this before already. The Diva segments might bring male viewers to the screen, but ONLY for those segments. Those Diva-fans leave once wrestling comes back on. So in essence it really doesn't work.
Also, I can remember a few women's matches where the fans were into it. Not any specific ones, but it has happened. |

How would th non-wrestling-fan male audience even know there were hot chicks on Raw? And wouldn't it be easier for them to go and buy FHM, Maxim or watch porn instead of having to sit through a stupid fucking fake wrestling show?
The WWE's whole approach to this is flawed. Instead of bringing in new viewers, they might be pissing off already established rasslin fans |

Am I the only one that thought that match was watchable? OK, I thought the Melina vs. Torrie Wilson Bra & Panites Match wasn't that bad, either. I think Stacy and Torrie have been training recently, and I'm not going to fault them for that.
Women's wrestling may not be a draw right now, but if they use their current females correctly, I think it could be a VERY solid addition. |

See, that's the thing. I'm not saying WWE should devote a brand just for women's wrestling. It should be an addition, like garnish on the plate of meat and potatoes that is men's wrestling.
It'd be like having a women's basketball mini-game during an NBA game's halftime, or something. That's what I meant by not being the same. WNBA is a whole separate organization (basically) that operates independently. Women's wrestling would be a one- or two-match attraction mixed in to a predominately male "sport". |

The reason why the Women's division is crap right now is because look who the title holder is for the Women's division, and look how many crediable women are ON RAW to challenge Trish? There are very few, if any. So the belt sits and rusts on Trish's shoulder (I'm not sure if she's healed up or not, but I would suspect that she's ready by now).
My view is to move Trish to SmackDown somehow, where there are more women on that roster. It may still suck, but at least it would be better than pretending that you don't even HAVE such a division. |
