Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels - WWE's best rivals
I knew it- I knew he wouldn't show up at summerslam. Although this time the rumours actually had a leg to stand on due to Michaels teasing the Hitman on RAW. The reasons he did it?

: Every single Canadian would buy the PPV.

: re-envigor the heat he had in 97-98 - making Michaels the Alpha heel of raw. Not even Triple H can play as good as a heel as Michaels. Shawn's natural arrogance just makes you want to punch in his face and kick in the head until his bald spot bleeds. Ask Bret Hart- He'll say the same thing.

Bret hart as the Face and Shawn as the heel - that was a magic recipe. I mean it had raw emotion - two guys who really hated each other. Nowadays the heels just come of as retards - See Eddie.

Remember Shawn teasing the fans during SS montreal match? He drove the fans rabid. How many heels do that during a match? they just get on the mic and bitch-insult the crowd then leave. Michaels PISSED the crowd off big time. Bret did the same thing in America - he really fucked with their minds.

If during 1997 you were'nt a bret hart fan or a shawn michaels fan - you lost out on some serious "MARK OUT" moments.

instead of pushing the next musclehead, vince should look at actually developing a talent. Heyman knows how to do this - he made Brock into a superstar. Lets cut this love triangle bullshit and get some serious matches going!
