Halo 2 for the PC

Has anybody heard if Microsoft is going to release Halo 2 on the PC, like they did with the first Halo, anytime soon?

Not heard anything about it, and I reckon it's fairly doubtful they will. First Halo was originally developed for Macs, then PC, then Xbox, whereas the second one was developed for Xbox from the off.

Microsoft didn't even develop Halo for the PC. They just published it. So I doubt it.

I don't enjoy it, but I've only played it online really.

It's taken far too seriously, and it isn't the sort of experience that I want from an online game.
All the servers are also based in the US, so if we play any American's they get an instant advantage, and I just don't enjoy it overall.

But this isn't a Halo 2 bashing thread
