Nice that they gave him the most horrible ring attire possible for a guy with his physique and body hair as well...

It was during the time when the WWE fired all their writers and just brought monkey's in. They shortly afterward realized it would be cheaper to pay the writers then to clean up after the monkey's.

It was in late 2002, I think between Survivor Series and Armageddon. Heyman gave him the name (onscreen anyways) when he was trying to rejuvinate him or something.

BTW you really think it's more ridiculous than a name which came from "Prince Albert" which was initially a reference to a genital piercing?

I think it was when Paul Heyman had a bunch of clients, just after when Angle beat Big Show for the title, and Paul Heyman was giving him a pep talk and then called him the A-Train, and A-Train was all like,"I'm the A-Train, eh?" and Paul Heyman was like,"uh... yeah?" and A-Train was like,"The A-Train, I like it," and then he became the A-Train.

Or something like that.
