What's with JR and King shilling on Raw?

Seriously, no bullshit please.....Is Raw really doing that bad? JR's saying something like this is where you want to be for action or something and Lawler's like "and comedy thrown in". Then JR's thanking the viewers for tuning in. Seriously, it sounds like Raw's doing about as good as the economy right now.
