I was on YTMND and came across a YTMND with a pic of a news article and the info had the web address for the article so I went to it and here it is.

Link fans may need to brace themselves: According to Eurogamer, Shigeru Miyamoto, the creative genius and main-man behind Nintendo, has been quoted as saying that the
upcoming "Twilight Princess" Zelda game will be "without a doubt, the last Zelda game as you know it in it's present form."

Miyamoto certainly hasn't been afraid to experiment with the games before: the odd "cell-shades" visual style of "Wind Waker" is evidence enough of that. But it's hard to believe that he or his company would simply end the series; one that rivals the Mario
games in popularity and fandom. Especially since Nintendo hasn't been doing very well in the "console wars" with Sony and Microsoft. Here's hoping we haven't seen the last of everyone's favorite Ocarina playing hero.

I think its either complete crap thats untrue or we will all be "swerved" somehow because he said "in its present form" so maybe its something stupid like its going to go into first person or something.

God, I dunno what it could mean but I just hope they keep making Zelda games.

No way will they end the Zelda series.

Nintendo are struggling more than they ever had. I brought the gamecube only for windwaker. No way are they going to get rid of something thats get them so much money. They are going to milk if for all its worth

I've read this shit already. They are going to keep making Zelda games. Shigeru Miyamoto isn't going to though. I would imagine that they will continue the Wind Waker gimmick, or something new. Basically this means there going to take this franchise in a new direction.

I think they just mean its going to be a new direction. Predictions?

I'm thinking more like GTA. Maybe with some kind of Dark Side/ Light Side balance system. Attack villagers or something and you slowly go to the "dark side".Link slowly changes into Dark Link whereas helping others and you stay more like the actual Link.Maybe instead of a solid quest it could play more like GTA with having to go to people to get a quest and it slowly builds into a story.
I'm not going to come up with a huge list of things but I love GTA and Zelda and the two togethor could be great.
Imagin a Hyrule the size of San Andreas and the abilities they could add. Replace gangs with tribes like Gorons and Gerudos wandering there areas.
I'd love a mix between GTAs freedom and Zeldas exploration.I'm rambling so I'll just go
