Is Smackdown! doomed on Fridays?
On the premiere of "Friday night" it got preempted for the storm telethon, which is a good reason to preempt it. NOW I find out that It won't air this week in my town due to ......baseball!
The smackdown shirts in my collection weep.

They're gonna take a hit in ratings. I've never lost a Smackdown to a sporting event (Other shows, yes) before last week. Markets that usually didn't get interrupted now will. I bet we'll lose nights to the Bruiins too.

Of course, this is why they're on Fridays, they weren't pulling in as much as UPN wanted.

Until the end of the Baseball season, I think UPN 9 in New York is going to be preempted almost every week for the Yankees...

Then the Giants and Jets may have a few games on a Friday on UPN...
