Mick Foley/Light Heavyweight Title

So, I'm watching some old school wrestling, I believe its USWA but I'm not too sure because it keeps switching from USWA to World Class Championship Wrestling. Sometimes they even show some Memphis wrestling with Jerry Lawler.

Anyways, Mick Foley was the light heavyweight champion on this show. Foley looked skinner than he is now but still in no way is a 'light heavyweight'. Can anybody comfirm this championship reign? If so, what wrestling company? And WHY THE HELL WOULD HE BE HOLDING A LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE? lol

JOKE ANSWER:

Southern heavyweight titles were often segregated during that period. For example, Mick Foley might be the LIGHT Heavyweight Champion, while Bobo Brazil would be the DARK Heavyweight Champion. The two would wrestle in separate matches in separate arenas. They couldn't use the same locker rooms and had to go to different wrestling schools. It was all truly tragic.

HONEST ANSWER:

No f'n clue.

The only one I think it could be is the old WCWA Light Heavyweight
Championship. WCWA's (World Class Wrestling Association) version
of the Light Heavyweight belt only lasted for about 2 years, and I re-
member Foley being one of the holders of the belt, along with Jarrett
and Eric Embry.

That's the only light heavyweight belt I can recall Mick Foley holding.
