I voted Chacin since im a Jays fan if I wasn't I would have to give it to "Mr. Moneyball" Nick Swisher

This was the easiest for me. 7 good candidates and 1 excellent one. #20 Dennis Eckersley Jr.
lol @ whoever voted for Cano's .320 OBP and 758978397603 errors |

Jays have Aaron Hill and Russ Adams as well. At the halfway point, I had Chacin all over it. A big year for Jays rookies. BUT when it's all said and done, for ROY I have to give it to Tad Igushi. (Us old guys have to stick together)

I didn't really follow the AL rookies this year but judging by those stats Blanton is the best.

Mauer isn't a rookie BTW, he had one more day of service then is allowed. I think you can be active for 45 days, he was for 46.

Will Felix Hernandez be eligible for ROY considerations next year?

I was too lazy to look up Mauer's service time because I knew he met the AB requirement. BCWWF is probably right though.
And no, King Felix will not be a rookie next year due to having over 50 MLB innings under his belt |

Chacin is one of the worst choices, Blanton > Chacin in every possible way

13 wins will get Chacin some high consideration, he is not however the ROY on the Jays, well at least it could be argued as such.
