Really wanted to vote for Francouer but he slowed down too much down the stretch while Howard was pretty incredible
Was Chase Utley not a rookie this year? |

Utley has been around for a few years. Garrett Atkins really should have been a candidate. Played a great third base and led NL rookies in RBIs.

Clint Barnes, habds down... if he hadn't gotten injured.
I'd say Ryan Howard, but he's got to do something about all those strikeouts. |

Yeah I was thinking Utley was a rookie too. I ended up voting for Howard, just based on the stats up there.

BARMES! He was fucking unbelieveable. I had him on my fantasy team too. Too bad he tripped down a flight of stairs carrying deer jerky though.

I voted for my boy Frankie. I took into account fielding too, so that just put him over all the others IMO.

Definately Howard...it seemed like everyone in Philly was panicking when Thome was atrocious, and then he stepped in and clobbered the ball....he has too many K's for my liking, but overall I'd still put him above the rest

If Barnes didn't miss half the season I probably would have voted for him

Ryan Howard
Most of his hits and home runs came in clutch situations |

Going with Taveras. Good numbers over the whole year.

Yeah it is Barmes. What's sad is even MVP Baseball '04 spelled it Barnes.
