Rob Van Dam getting Injured was the best possible thing for Rey Mysterio.
Remember this time last year, Rey Mysterio had teamed with Rob Van Dam and at last No Mercy, he and RVD were battling for the tag titles from Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree. Now even though they made a great team, tag matches were way below both of them. At the beginning of the year, it looked like Rey & RVD would be defending the titles against the Bashams at No Way Out. But then...RVD recieved a serious knee injury, which put him on the injury list. This one thing started Rey Mysterio's push. He was teamed with Eddie Guerrero and they had the feud of the year. Now this No Mercy, REy is facing former WWE champion, JBL.
Don't you think that RVD getting injured was good for Rey and will hopefully be good for RVD when he returns? ![]() On RAW, you’ve got Batista with muscles to spare. But he’s got charisma, like Tomko’s got hair. You got Triple H and Ric Flair, their legend still grows. 26 titles between them, and the world’s biggest nose. Hey Cena, you think I’m jealous of your fortune and fame. Well you talk like Snoop Dogg, but you look like Corey Haim. So after the draft, whether it’s RAW or SmackDown!, JR or Michael Cole. I will be champion, cuz THAT’S HOW I ROLL! Christian Cage |

If RVD got that push it'd be great.

They both deserve pushes, but I think a RVD push would be better received by the fans. Everyone loves this guy...

I hate looking at tag team wrestling as "below" anyone. I also hesitate to agree that if RVD weren't injured, that he and Rey would've AUTOMATICALLY remained a tag team all the way up until now.

I thought RVD would win the belt against HHH at Unforgiven 02.
That RVD/HBK title match in Nov 02 is one of the ten best RAW matches of all time I think |
