How exactly are baseballs juiced?
I hear that phrase in baseball alot. " The Balls are juiced ". How does one juice a baseball?
Is there like scientific evidence of a juiced baseball? Have they ever opened up a baseball full of juice? ![]() It dont matter who did what to who at this point. The fact is, we went to war. And now there aint no going back. It's what war is you know? Once you're in it, you're in it. If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie, but we gotta fight! |

it's just a way to describe how the balls have tighter wound cores so they jump off the bats at a higher speed.

I see. So is that true? Is that a big factor in Hr's being hit? HR's seem to be down since Barry Balco Bonds isnt playing.

we have been in the "live ball" era for a long time now. really has nothing to do with HRs being down from just one year to the next.

Actually, there has been talk during the "live ball era" besides roids, that in an effort to make the game more exciting after a nasty strike/lockout and get back fans, that the ball was "wraped tighter" which causes it to go further off the bat.
