Exclamation Rate the Tag Team - Day 32 - The Boogie Knights


Day 32. Here we go again my friends, another version to tickle your fancy. Last time we rated The Dream Team and they surprised me. I though a 65 at the most and they scored a 75. I'm not saying they don't deserve it, it just surprised me that's all. They are put along the likes of The Nasty Boys and Pretty Wonderful with that score.

Today we have a team that smelled of WCW. They didn't last too long but I think they left their mark. They started out as the Dancing Fools but that faded fast. One team member went on to call himself Berlyn which was just horrible. In Austrailia they had some decent matches with Jindrak and O'Haire. They won the WCW tag team titles, but were stripped of them right away. When they won those titles the fans erupted. I am not kidding. They were way over in Australia for some reason. After that they soon faded away. This is "Das Wonderkin" Alex Wright and Disqo Inferno, The Boogie Knights!

I actually had high hopes for Berlyn (the character), but WCW screwed it up just like pretty much everything else.

7, the matches werent train wrecks or anything and for some ungodly reason Disco Inferno has always been a favourite of mine and I thought Alex Wright was pretty good too.

7, they were entertaining, they always played off each other pretty well and both were decent in the ring. An underrated team, they were better when they first teamed up pre-Bald Alex Wright

6. I saw the crowd erupt for them in Austrailia on Nitro. I actually suspended disbelief for this series of matches and entered the realm of Markdom. I realize they weren't great performers or talkers, but for some reason they entertained me.

Just to be fair and balanced, because I don't think they deserve a point one or a one or whatever. They were a fairly good team, and were good on their own. Alex moreso than Disco. Really good athlete, got some crappy gimmicks to work with.
