Games you missed out on at the time

The other day I managed to pick up an N64 game I'd been after for a while, that being Conkers Bad Fur Day, I remember wanting it at the time back in 2001 or something, but never brought it, bacause I was saving my little hard earned pennies for a Gamecube.

Man, after like a couple of seconds of playing Bad Fur Day, I was thinking, yeah, it's Rare, it will be like what they did with Donkey King 64 and make it pretty much like Banjo-Kazooie, though don't get me wrong I loved DK64 and more so Banjo-Kazooie. But after the initial couple mins, I was proved wrong, the whole B button context sensitive thing and some awesome humour, I loved the game. It's like a cross between Banjo-Kazooie, Southpark and a Warner Brothers cartoon. Sooooo many lmao parts and awesome chapters, though some of the game is stolen from movie's, like Saving Private Ryan, Aliens and The Matrix.

Another game I missed out on at the time was Half Life, I didn't really play anything other than Nintendo till about 2 years ago, when I started PC gaming, I picked up a copy of Half Life and started playing and was like, man this is hot. With both games though, I felt that they ruled but especially in Half Lifes case, a little outdated, as sooooo many FPS have ripped the shit and ideas out of the game and added on it.

So yeah, post games you missed out and and later played, or games you always wanted to but never did.
