TNA is getting mad money
Morphoplex, TNA's main sponsor, is currently paying $200,000 a month to sponsor their shows. YEAH BABY!!! The company keeps growing. Last year they were paying $30,000 per week for a tv show. Now they don't have to pay a dime for tv and getting $200,000 per month from a sponsor. That's a big step up. Don't forget their DVD's is selling out in stores. The ratings might not be great but everything else is looking positive.

What's it a step up from? What were the previous figures? Do you have a link to an actual report on either?

I got it from "GERWECK.net" that got it from the "WRESTLING OBSERVER".

In 2004, TNA did weekly ppvs that cost alot of money and was losing money. They paid FSN $30,000 per week(or month,forgot) for a bad timeslot.

In 2005, have a free tv show on Spike in a better slot. The ratings is much better compare to FSN ratings. Video game deal with a major video game company. DVD's in major retails and selling well, I think they had 3 dvds in the top 25 on Billboards,one in the top 10. Morphoplex paying them $200,000 per month. It seems like a step up too me.

As far as the $200,000 a month goes, you can get that off of TNAWrestlingNews.com which I have found over recent months to be quite reliable.

As for the money issue, yeah they are in a much better possition then they were a year ago, but that isn't saying much. A little over a year ago the were dangerously close to shutting down. This is fairly common knowledge. The deal with FSN was shakey and their buyrates where terrible. Now, does this mean they have made a step in the right direction? Yes. But let's not all think Monday Night War pt. 2 is coming because of it. Had they NOT made a step in the right direction they would be gone right now. I hope they continue to move forward and progress. I believe in Dixie Carter alot. She is actually quite smart and isn't listening to a lot of the fucking dipshits. On the business side of things she is doing things just right. Like I said here's hoping they continue to have furthering success. I say this as someone who has watched their program from the very first show over three years ago on their shitty weekly PPV slot. I love TNA, but don't start making it out to be mroe then what it is.

Not green money wise...I mean, the company as a whole being on the green and successful.

Hopefully with Christian, there will be more talking segments in the ring, and better storylines. WWE overdoes it, but you still need to have the talking and entertainment factor...I haven't read the spoilers...but from the past few weeks TNA was lacking that. It was mostly all wrestling with little talking...just guy in tights A vs. guy in tights B...and supposedly the casual fan was supposed to get into it.

Well I gotta be honest, actual wrestling is second to me. The first thing I like is the entertainment factor. I loved backstage segments, I loved Christian on the mic. They told a story.

When TNA says 'Less Talking, More Action' It's actually putting me off TNA.

Oh and by the by, morphoplex is their MAIN sponser, meaning they pay the most. And we know that Panda Energy is still somewhere in there. So let's say they both pay out $200,000 a month. That's $400,000 a month total. After costs of paying for talent, air travel, etc....that's not exactly what I would call "mad money"...more...barley being able to pay of JUST the wrestling talent.

I think TNA really need more time to run their shows. I think two hours a week, at least. You can't really have solid storylines built-up, and have good matches, and showcase a lot of your talent on the same card.

I think TNA needs to actually make storylines that have some logic behind them before we give them more time to develop storylines. Hell I love the attitude of "Wrestling Comes First" but a good match with a purpose is nothing better then a good build up without a match...(please see: I Still Remember)

You need some dinner before you get desert. The in ring stuff that TNA is doing has been alot of candy, but we have nothing else. Clusterfucks of run ins...Jarrett having half the roster swinging from his nuts, no real clear cut heel or face (other then Styles and Jarrett), and all too predictable match outcomes. And don't even get me started on the fact that TNA's storylines lead abso-fucking-lutly nowhere.

I agree with everything The One said. I would want nothing more than TNA surviving to become the biggest company out there since WCW...and Dixie is definitely not a moron. She's taking things quite nice and slow.

Also, their video game .. when its out...should bring in great revenue for them.

I'm just hoping they will end up in a better timeslot. I caught TNA on Spike for the first time last weekend and things definitely have improved from the last time I watched them. I still could not make heads or tails of who was face/heel and why certain things were happening even though I try to read up on what is going on through TPWW. I agree with One, a clear direction seems to be needed and stories need to created to make reasons to have the matches.

The only people that have been "let down" are the morons like you who want every fed to be a copy of WWE. "TNA needs more storylines because WWE does it, TNA needs more gimmicks etc. "
Jesus, why can't TNA do something different? What about fans thatdon't want storylines, they want to see good, fast paced wrestling matches, TNA is for those fans.
If you're not one of those fans, then fuck off and watch Cena win the raw main event every week in some sort of 2/3 on 1 situation.

Your blindness sees nothing but two things. Pain and Gimmicks. In your little mind and sad world, the art of wrestling is nothing more then those two. Now you might be asking why I am elected to get on your ass about this. What the fuck should I care what you enjoy and don't enjoy. I hate you because you are the source of the problem with pro wrestling to the rest of the world. To the rest of the world Professional Wrestling is nothing more then violence and weird unrealistic gimmicks. And when someone like you poses as a actual wrestling fan you totally kill any chance those of us who can see the artistic side of it have and truly allowing others to understand. Again why should I give a flying fuck what someone like you does? Because I have injuries that will NEVER heal due to what I gave to this art. I have pain that will NEVER go away. For the rest of my life I have the scares of this industry, and I carry them with honor knowing that what I did was a small part of a much larger world that I loved. I gave my body to this art for an audience of 500 (or however large IWF or RMCW's shows got....not the point here). Now no one who attended those shows can recall my name, I never got a big pay check for my work, and honestly I didn't make jack shit of a difference...but at least I did what I did because I had respect for those 500 people who came to see me perform. I gave myself, and don't regret it one bit, because up until now I thought they, those 500, were the smart ones who saw just what everything meant to me. Knowing your history of defending every indie show ever I can only assume you attend them...which means your worthless ass could have been sitting in the audience any night I was out there...you could have been one of those people I gave my body for...out of respect...realising now you have no more respect for it then a child who thinks that since daddy says it's fake, nobody gets hurt, I hate you. Maybe I hate myself for thinking that once you crossed the line of seeing past the gimmicks and storylines, you understood and respected this art...and realising now that once you cross that line all you do is enter a whole new world of mistake and idiocy.

Your blantent statement that there are two kinds of wrestling is nothing more then what the rest of the world says about this misunderstood art form. I don't know what you think you know about wrestling, or what you think makes you an insider...but rest assured that every wrestler I know would spit in your face and probably toss your ass around like a vollyball for thinking that AND having the nerve to actually call yourself a wrestling fan. You sir, are no wrestling fan. Do me a favor, never show your face around here again, never call yourself a fan, go buy some "Bum Fight" DVD and walk away from this forever. The Wrestlers, Promotoers, and real fans of Professional Wrestling, will thank you for doing that.

Keep in mind, you're almost always the one who brings up the TNA/WWE comparison. You're the one who always asks the question "And John Cena/the WWE is better?" It's pretty much the only way to guarantee the WWE even comes up when mentioning the problems with TNA.
