So he was supposed to do "The Game" gimmick after going through with the Blue Blazer thing

Is this the same "Game" gimmick that Triple H got later on?

Supposedly so, I cant give you any sort of specifics or sources but what I have always heard and I beleive it came from an interview with HHH that Owen was set to get the gimmick.

Whether thats true or whether he would have cirred it off, well who knows.

I find that total bullshit

Mainly because 'The Game' thing happened by accident in a promo he did after he turned heel, there's no way they could give that gimmick to Owen as HHH was a super over face and then turned on one of the most over stables in the WWE.

Owen was a comedy heel gimmick, how the hell could he have gone from that to 'The Game!' plus it's not even a proper fucking gimmick! I mean basically it's a straight talking worker who thinks he's the best. That's not a 'gimmick'.

And Owen's conract was expiring soon and after everything that happened with Bret do you really think he would of wanted to hang around? Knowing he could of A. Retired or B. Made alot more cash in WCW?

So in conclusions, I think it's horse shit

As I said before I'm not saying its true but I was pretty sure I had heard it reported that this was in a HHH interview somewhere.
