Arrow avi.
So my computer can't play avi's and I don't know why.

So here's a quick question.

Do I need anything special to play them?

(I used the big blue arrow for the Title Icon to try and get people's attention because the Title is so small.)

Has it ever been able to play avi's?

And I suggest VLC Player since it's hard to find good codec packs these days that work for everyone.

Yeah I seen that after I posted this, but my problem is that avi's don't play for me AT ALL.

All I get is sound. You get blurry pictures and they start off green and it never sorts itself out.

And my computer has never been able to play avi's VC.

if you want to use media player you're going to have to get the divx codec

get it from download.com but when ur installing make sure u uncheck everything besides the actual codec, and don't install the player or you will get spyware on your computer...

honestly it's probably easier to use vlc
