Your All-Time Favorite Wrestling Game
I think I included everything, except handhelds, and I noticed I forgot WCW Thunder for PlayStation. Multiple votes, cuz, I love Wrestlefest, but how can I choose that over a modern game like No Mercy. Makes it easier than having to choose only 1 when it's a difficult choice. Prolly No Mercy.
The game was so awesome, I even forgave the glaring glitch issues. |

WWF No Mercy is BY far the best wrestling game ever.
If only other games could edit wrestlers appearances I might say different |

Nice list.
The one that I probably played the most at the time was WCW Revenge. Obviously I would rather play a much more advanced game like HCTP now though. |

No Mercy at the very top. Definitely my favourite N64 wrestling game.

Goddamn that's a great game. El Stingray, the Great Oni, Scorpion, Jumbo "Flap" Jack, Biff Slamkovich, Mike Haggar, Gunloc, Titanic Tim, King Rasta "Mon," Alexander the Grater... Throwing chairs into the ring... Now I can't wait to go home this weekend and play it again. |

I hear FPW for the N64 was awesome, but as I never played it, I can't rate it myself.

Well I voted for one of my personal all-time favorite wrestling games and that is Wrestlefest:The Arcade Game. This game was the greatest back in the day and it was the only game I played when I went to the arcade.
This game had a great Royal Rumble match with 6 or 8 guys on a screen at once. The Rumble was so much fun and I think it was a lot better then the Smackdown games Royal Rumble's. You could choose from 12 WWF superstars like Hogan, Warrior, Perfect, Jake, Demolition and more. There was also interviews with Mene Gene before the match and entrances for each superstar. I'm not sure if they had their real themes play while they came out though. But Demolition's entrance with the masks and their costumes was priceless. Steel Cage was also a match in the game too. Here are some pics to bring back the memories: |

Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium. Over 100 wrestlers, all with unique movesets. 80 CAW slots, and tons of moves for them. Moves and animations that were unheard of for a wrestling game at the time, some of which aren't even on the newer games. All of this on a 10-year-old game for the SNES.
BUT, since that's not on there, No Mercy and HCTP are a load of fun as well. *flips coin* HCTP |

You can get old games dirt cheap (i.e. popular NES games for >$10, obscure NES games for >$5, WAY obscure NES games for >$1), and they'll buy used games from you. Awesome store. I need to get over there more often. |

So far, that's Fire Pro X Premium, DKC 1 & 2, Saturday Night Slam Masters, X Men: Mutant Apoocalypse, Wing Commander, Mega Man X 1 - 3, Final Fight 1 - 3 (I'm only getting 2 for the memories, really), Brawl Brothers, Super Double Dragon and Maximum Carnage (I don't care what anyone says, that game is good). |

Wrestlefest:The Arcade Game is a close 2nd but WWF No Mercy has to win. I saw many a punch up after a night drinking and watching boxing with the boys and then playing this on top of it all. Top notch entertainment.

I'm going to have to go with No Mercy as well. I think the game captured the feeling of the WWE at the time it was made.
There were only 5 reasons I wouldn't call this game "Perfect". 1. Tag teams not coming out together. 2. The short entrances. 3. The cage bug. (Not being able to shake people from the cage) 4. The Undertakers music. (Raw Theme) 5. Not being able to edit move sets. But there are so many reasons why those 4 little problems didn't mean much to me. 1. Ability to edit appearances. 2. Create a Wrestler 3. Simplicity 4. The game engine! (I miss you! ) 5. The roster. |
