You know, Armageddon could be a pretty good show *Minor SD! Spoilers*

If they really went out of their way to make it seem important. Have an "open invitation" to all of The Undertaker's opponents in Hell in a Cell to appear on the PPV. You can pretty much have Triple H, Shawn Michaels & Kurt Angle confirmed for this (Kurt Angle vs. Santa Claus II?), with the possibility of Mick Foley, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and maybe, MAYBE (by some miracle) The Rock.

Have more matches added to the card. The Boogeyman vs. Sylvan in a squash. Bobby Lashley vs. William Regal & Paul Burchill in a Handicap Match. Have Jamie Noble return and team with his "cousin" Nunzio to take on Paul London & Brian Kendrick. If you book HBK to be there, you can get these guys noticed by having Michaels run out and cheer on his former students when it looks bad for them (because of heelish Vito tactics). Hell, after they finish have Shawn Michaels vs. Vito in another unscheduled match.

Let MNM and The Mexicools cut lose, as well as Juventud and Kid Kash. Watching SmackDown!, I have no problems saying that MNM vs. The Mexicools and Batista & Rey Mysterio vs. Kane & Big Show are both potentially great matches (I swear to God, Mysterio is going to cut loose at Armageddon).

Booker T vs. Chris Benoit should be great, as should JBL vs. Matt Hardy. I don't know why, but I can seriously see myself marking out for a ref bump in MH vs. JBL, which leads to JBL getting a steel chair. He's about to whack Matt Hardy when Orlando Jordan pulls it out of his hands, which has JBL going "What the Hell, Orlando?" before WHAM! Orlando Jordan knocks the crap out of Layfield. A lot of people don't care about Orlando Jordan, but he would make a much better babyface than heel, IMO, and I think him breaking his shackles to JBL would get a good reaction out of the crowd. And if it doesn't work, have Orlando Jordan get squashed by JBL on SmackDown!, and then offer him his services again as a dependant heel.

The main event will most likely be solid, but I can also see it being seven shades of awesome. These aren't two guys I envisioned it for, but I'd have them spill outside the Cell. Have Randy control the match by grounded The Undertaker (much like all their other matches), before Taker makes the token comeback, only for Bob Orton to get involved in the match by opening the Cell somehow, which allows a two-on-one beatdown of Taker. The Dead Man once again makes a comeback, and knocks out Bob Orton somehow, and he then Orton proceeds to take some sick bumps. Maybe a Last Ride through an announce table? If they can pull that off, then have Taker do it again. The Undertaker can then climb to the top of the Cell, and have him challenge Orton to climb as well. Orton does, and we get a few off the Cell spot teases, but Orton gets the RKO on the top of the Cell and pins Taker to end the match. I don't know why, but I can easily see Orton standing on the Cell looking proud only for the perimeter of the top of the Cell to burst into flames, Taker sitting up, and then giving Orton a Chokeslam or Last Ride through the roof to the mat. It would be crazy, but Orton proved he just might be crazy at Backlash 2004.

So yeah:

-Add Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Nunzio & Jamie Noble

-Add some more matches like The Boogeyman vs. Sylvan and Bobby Lashley vs. William Regal & Paul Burchill.

They may not ge huge buyrates or attendence, but to kep the event from being a complete failure, they could at least put some quality stuff on there to get people to either watch the replay, buy the DVD, or both.

Pfft

Also, reveal who the new RAW General Manager is on the show. Like have Shane McMahon (example) show up when Theodore Long books the Batista & Rey Mysterio vs. Kane & Big Show match for the World Tag Team Championship, only to have him OK it because he hates both Kane & Big Show.

Why not have Special Guest commentary through a lot of the event? Have Triple H call Chris Benoit vs. Booker T (he's faced them both for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania), have Shawn Michaels call PL & BK vs. N 'n' N (match won't happen in my wildest dreams, but still, it gets HBK out there), have Stone Cold Steve Austin call MNM vs. The Mexicools (if just for strange comparisons between between MNM and The Hollywood Blondes), have Kurt Angle call The Boogeyman vs. Sylvan or Bobby Lashley vs. William Regal & Paul Burchill and have Mick Foley call JBL vs. Matt Hardy. If and IF they cold get The Rock there for the event, have him call Juventud vs. Kid Kash.

To beat Taker they should get a Royal Rumble style heel lockeroom clearout. Then Taker will take another leave of absence as Marty Janetty floats to the rooftops

1994 Royal Rumble Yokozuna defeated Undertaker in a casket match when 999 superstars came out and helped beat Taker. After that, Taker said junk and seemed to "float" up from the casket and above the arena (which was Jannetty).
