BEST WRESTLING BIOGRAPHY
which one do you guys think is the best read? ive read most of them and i have to say that SHAWN MICHAELS is the best so far even though im only on page 82. top 5 in no order would be ric flair, kurt angle, hbk, jerry lawler and freddie blassie.

I'm going to give mad props to Mick Foley's biography because he wrote it himself. You'd think someone who has taken 48324 chair shots in the past 2 seconds would have been knocked stupid by now.
Ric Flair's is awesome, same with Freddie... But Jesse Ventura's isn't half bad, and Bill Goldbergs kinda sucks. I need to get HBK's and Regals. They're on me "If I don't get this for Christmas" list. |

Foley's first by a long shot for me. I also really liked Tom Billington's "Pure Dynamite", Piper's and Heenan's.
I much prefer the non-WWE issued bios as they don't have to kiss as much ass to Vince and co. |

I've read Foley's first, Kurt Angle's, and I'm currently half way through Regal's. Out of those 3, I'd have to go with: 1. Angle 2. Foley 3. Regal. Although my mind could change once I've finished Regal's. I'm going to pick up HBK's after Christmas too.

I've read Hulk Hogan's book and that's a pretty good read.
I'm in the middle of reading William Regal's book, and so far that's good too. ![]() I really want to read Edge's book so I might be getting that after Christmas, I might also get "Are We There Yet?" |

Ive read the Kings, foleys 2 and angles, rocks oh and chynas but i dont really wanna remember that, ive bought regals to read on the plane, i would have to say i enjoyed the rocks the least because so much of it was in character and was too early, in his careear, Kurts was good because i enjoyed learning about his background the kings, was good to simply because it was much more old school book and learning and reading how things were in a different day then i grew up watching, one of the reasons i eventually wanna check out flairs, and nothing needs to be said about foleys, it was just a brilliant read

Foley's 2 and Dynamite's were awesome. Edge's was readable as was the Hardy's book. Austin's, Rock's, Flair's, HBK's, Hogan's and Angle's were shit. At least what I read of them. HBK's and Hogan's had a stupid amount of lies and Angle's was all self promoting (but what's new with him?). Haven't caught Regal's or Eddie's but I'd imagine they'll kick the rest of these WWE books in the arse.
Diana Hart-Smith's was beyond awful. Martha Hart's book about her late husband were friggin' awesome. |

Have a Nice Day tops the list.
Also liked Dynamites and Bobby Heenan's first. I still haven't read Flair's, and if I don't get it for Christmas, I'm gonna go buy it. |

Hogan's book if filled with lies and is mainly garbage. He said he was in the UK for Summerslam for christ sake!
My Favs: The only 2 I can ever see myself reading again (which I have anyway) are anything done by Foley and The Hardy's book Surprisingly the Hardy's is a really interesting read, it's really easy to get into. Lawlers was dull and un interesting, apart from the bits about Kauffman The Rock's book actually gave me a brain tumour from reading it, with all his shit promos Angle's made me respect him more because of the stuff he's done and been through, but the book itself was tough to read HBK's is written through rose tinted specs through most of the book, claiming the clique never had any power! Pah! |

Nah, Youell, in one of the chapters Micheals admits the Clique was in Vince's year and he admits they used each other to keep each other on top. He says anyone in the position would.

Just bought Shawn Micheals' yesterday. Only read 8 pages though.
I have Foley's first one, Edge's and The Rocks. I have like 50 pages left with Edge's and I read all of Foley's and Rocks, but not cover to cover. I skipped around from chapter to chapter ![]() |

Martha's book was disturbing. One of the few books where I actually cried reading it. Problem with the books coming out now is that too many of the individuals who have books haven't been in the business long enough. I heard Dibiase has a book and now that I have my computer at home hooked up I want to order it online. |

The ones I own are Foley (both), Austin, Hardys, King, Goldberg, Angle, and Flair.
I've also read the Edge, Regal and Rock books. The only ones I have read more than once are the Foley books (3 times) and the Hardyz (twice) and without doubt, the best is Have A Nice Day Last edited by CSL; 12-22-2005 at 11:43 AM. |

The Hardyz book is amazingly entertaining, considering how young they are. The "Matt/Jeff/Matt/Jeff" format works really well, although you can blatantly tell that they put some stuff under Jeff's name that he would never say or didn't make sense "Example - Jeff: "The thing is, Jeff and I..." Foley's 2 books were great. Whenever I read Flair's or Austin's, I always think how criminal it is that, a - they didn't write it, and b - they aren't Foley sized, because they have so much to say. |

i think of the rock's book as a freakin long-ass interview on RAW going back to his kid days, where there is an answer or excuse for everything.

I know I'm getting HBK's as a Xmas gift, so I havent read that yet. But I have read Kurt Angle's, Stone Cold's, and even Lita's books. I gotta say the Angle one was the best of them all. I actually have not had a chance to read any of Foley's, but I hope to do that soon. As well as Flair, Eddie, and maybe Edge's too.
