PSP link up question -PLEASE HELP-

I've already asked this in the SDvRaw thread but I need help!

Can you only use the Sony USB link up cable (to link to the PS2) or will any cable do?

If it's a normal USB port (either both big or one big and one little) then you should be able to use any USB cable with matching ends to the hardware.
