The F5

I know that one of the trainers (possibly Patterson) came up with the "F5" name because it looks like a tornado, but did Brock invent the F5, or was it used before he started using it?

I think Mike Awesome used it in WCW.

I thought it was Brian Adams who did it in WCW while in Kronik...

Chico does not have that much rep yet (10+)
I do remember that Brian Adams used a move like the F5 when he was in Kronik - come to think of it, didn't Shawn Stasiak use a similar move when he was Perfectshawn in WCW?

Except you swing the opponent in another direction and hit them with a Diamond Cutter or front neckbreaker or whatever you want to call it.

What would the ending of the F5 be considered? A DDT or a reverse/inverted neckbreaker?

Sean O'Haire used it during the WCW InVasion.

Brock said he came up with the idea of doing the move after he watched some tapes from Japan.

Wasn't that a backwards Death valley driver? I know O'Haire's used used that move for a while. I don't remember an F5. I'm not saying it never happened, I just don't remember it.

Instead of dropping Rikishi head first on his upper back (on his left), he'd drop him leg first (on his right side).

Yeah, I seem to remember it being a reverse DVD (not to be confused with the "Fungi-Uterus").

I believe it's suppose to be more of a slam instead a DDT.

When the WCW InVasion first started, a huge brawl between WWF guys and WCW guy took place on Raw, I think, and O'Haire nailed someone with the F5. When the Invasion finished and he came back as the devil's advocate character, THAT was when he started using the Widow Maker (which fucking rules).
