Killzone
I got Killzone for Xmas. The game is great. Loving it and its now my fav FPS of all-time. Much better than TS3 in my opinion and I never played Halo but I have heard people say its better than that. I can't really think of any faults I can find with it. I'm looking forward to the next one now. Anyone else got Killzone? Theres stuff I want to say but I don't know where to begin.

Are you nuts? TS3 is one of the best FPS around.

I've played Killzone, and to me, it's crap.

For one thing, everyone walks extremely slow. And by the way everyone walks around they look like they have a pineapple up there ass. The sound effects are just annoying. Nearly every 5 seconds you here some old English guy shout "TAKE COVEEEEEEEEEEER!!" and "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and the A.I is terrible. The bad guys just "Do a Goldeneye" and walk straight up to your face and THEN shoot you.

To me is goes like this.

TS3>TS2>TS1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Killzone

Killzone is down at the bottom of my favorite FPS list, along side Halo.

Not joking. I enjoy it.Thats all that matters. Clearly you have a thing about assuming you are better than others despite the fact you clearly follow the herd and claim a game is great simply because it is popular (Halo, TS3, GE). If you where so great you would develop your own preferances for games and not leap and bound into whatever is popular. As for Goldeneye, I didn't like that game much then and I don't like it much now. Controls wheren't that great for a start. TS3, yeah I love that game but Killzone beats it by an arms length to me and I have never played Halo.

I could easily undermine your love for Power Ranger and bring up the fact you are a 23 year old Power Rangers fanatic and "assume you are joking" and "apologize in your stead" but thats your tastes and I'm not gonna criticise them.

Define contradiction: I'm accused of liking something because it's popular and in the same post my respect for Power Rangers, a not-so-popular subject here, is used to get at me.

Dude, even hinting that I'm down with Halo for some BS non-gamer noob-ass reason is sacrilage because YOU KNOW ME. The videogame industry is one of my passions and I put too many hours into Halo 2 online for that to be remotely true.

And when I say GoldenEye, I mean the 64 game, people.

lol I was just messing about anyway but what I said about goldeneye, TS3 and halo where true. Yeah I mean the N64 Goldeneye.

I find myself in agreement with you, Drakul. It might not be the best FPS on all accounts, but it's certainly my favorite.

Half-Life is so horribly boring, Halo is overrated, and TS3...Meh.

I was looking forward to this game but the reviews kind of turned me away from buying it when it first came out. Never really got the chance to go out and rent it either so I have yet to play it but it does look pretty good.

So far, though, it is one of my definite buys, from the looks of it now, on the PS3 right next to Unreal Tournament 2007. If they are both launch titles I wouldn't mind paying he money for them.

Anybody played Perfect dark Zero? I just gave it's multiplayer a try today. Interesting stuff. Me and a friend actually got into a fist that went like this:

I find his sneaky ass trying to snipe a third player. I sneak up on him (you don't appear on radar by not shooting a thing) and swipe his gun. A sniper rifle in close quarters is a joke in any FPS so I put it away anyway and I start to punch the hell outta him. He starts punching back. So we're punching and rolling out of each others range and trying to get good punches in. I knocked his ass down.

Much more interesting than a melee match in Halo. There's slight balance issues I can forsee if we had a big team game though. The labtop gun is the end-all weapon.
