The last thing I remember buying was Sims 2 for PS2 but it sucks and I want to return it but I lost the reciept (couldn't they scan the bar code and see that I bought it from there store and that would mean no need for receipt?)

I have been reading up on it and Twilight Princess is starting to appeal to me.

No, that's not how those bar codes work. The specific codes identify the vendor and the product, not the store you bought it from. Thus, every copy of The Sims 2 has the exact same bar code (unless of course the count PAL versions as different products altogether).

Yeah, it was only 10 bucks. As soon as I'm through with Dragon Quest 8 (and the FFXII demo that comes with it, I guess), I'll get started on it. I may even go all backward compatible and get FFVII, after seeing Advent Children (I know the FFVII story, despite never playing it or even owning a PS1 )

A lot of people think FFX is like one of those love it or hate it games. And I think that's true. It was a complete hit for me, and it made up for my horrible disdain for FF 9.


VII though...If somebody DOESN'T like it, they're in the minority. But then I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, as much hype as it has around it.

Yeah, $70 with Ontario tax

Most other places though, new releases are $69.99 ($80 counting Ontario tax).

Once PS3 and Revolution come out, all the games are gonna be at least that much.

I've bought two games in the past 6 months.

- Dragon Quest 8
- Final Fantasy 4 Advanced

Both great pickups. I'm at the very end of DQ8 (Dragovian trials/real ending) and well, also nearing the end of FF4A, but that's a short game. They did add new dungeons, abilities and the ability to use all the characters in the game at the end, which is pretty awesome.

Final Fantasy 10 was trash.
