So..how to book the champ now?
So, now we have a new champ, new year, and all that good shit. Cena's done for, at least for now, as champ, and it's time for Edge to enjoy a (much) deserved title reign. Only problem is, how the hell do they book him? I personally would like to see him as a heel, defending against face HHH. Alienoid, this thread has your name written all over.

Angle didn't exactly cut a face promo last night, if you were paying attention.

I see another Angle/Michaels match at Wrestlemania, ending when Vince 'screws' Shawn while he's in the ankle lock or something.

As far as Edge, I'm truly stumped. At the beginning of the night last night, he got a big heel reaction. I heard talk in other threads of turning him face, but the face pops he got at the end of the night were not face pops, but rather anti-Cena pops. Turning him a face would be a mistake in my eyes.

Same thing with Triple H. I couldn't see him becoming a face after they were just making it a point to show you what a vile and vicious son of a bitch he can be with the whole Big Show feud. Triple H got some face pops, and again (but to a lesser degree than with Cena), they were anti-Big Show pops.

It would truly be a shame to see Edge play up 'Mr. Money In the Bank' all year just to drop the title in a couple months. It would make his whole 2005 seem like an exercise in futility. However, I don't know how well Edge would fit in a Wrestlemania main event. There are tons of factors to consider, and to me, it's all very exciting right now.

Knowing the WWE, Edge will lose it back to Cena tonight on RAW. Edge will defend against like HBK in the main event and win a very hard fought match. However, Cena will come through the crowd and attack Edge, beating the crap out of him and basically giving him his own medicine. He will then renounce the fans in a promo, saying "FUCK YOU ALL" cuz he gave them everything and they still boo'ed him, then he'll say he had a rematch clause.

Match gets underway, Cena pins in four official seconds after an F-U to follow up that beating he gave.

Cena is your champ again, except he turned heel.

Fans will boo the shit out of him because they got screwed; Vince will interpret that as terrific heel heat.
