RAW Ratings Rise
RAW ratings rise
January 10, 2006 One night after Edge defeated John Cena for the WWE Championship at New Year's Revolution, WWE fans tuned into Monday Night RAW in huge numbers. This week's RAW delivered a 4.3 rating. That's up 16 percent from last week's 3.7 rating. Edge and Lita's live sex celebration proved to be the highest rated segment of Monday's show, delivering a 5.2. This marked the first time RAW reached a 5 rating since February 21, 2005, when Batista's WrestleMania contract signing delivered a 5.0. Source: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/rawratingsrise I wonder why the Sex Celebration made ratings rise? |

I think the "non sex" part of the show was high due to the WWE having a new champ....people are always interested in the RAWs after a new champ is crowned.

Usually we don't see this much of a spike.
I'm not saying there's normally no spike, but this is a pretty big difference. |
