Wrestling...scholarship?

First off, let me explain my situation.

I want to be a wrestler. Desperately. Have been wanting to since I was little. I have located a wrestling school about two towns off with decent credibility--it's trained some of the better wrestlers in Oklahoma at the moment, and is the current wrestling home of Vader (take that however you want). I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I'm at least going to START my career at this school.

My only issue is money.

I cannot, for the life of me, get a freaking job. If I knew why, I'd explain it, but for some reason this tiny, backwoods shithole of a town has a vendetta against me. I have applied to literally every single business in town multiple times, and yet the only place to hire me in the past four months is McDonald's--and only then because the manager knew my grandfather. The school costs $100 a month, totalling to $1500--or $1200 if I pay up front, and $50 for a tryout. There's no way in hell I can afford this, plus gas for my shitty car that eats gas like it's in a gas eating contest, seeing as the school is--again--two towns off. It's the closest school I can find, though.

My question is this. As awkward as I know this sounds, and as tragic as I know the answer is going to be, is there any way to get a...uh...wrestling scholarship of sorts? Is there any way to obtain money for something like this? My family's a bunch of assholes and are completely unwilling to help with any of this, mostly because they're so adamant about me joining the military that they won't provide for any other kind of life. Or better yet, does anybody have any other suggestions to relieve this issue?

Lemme give you my two cents
Go out there and see the world. You're 18, you have a whole life. Look at Bobby Lashley? What would have become of him if he didn't join the service? How about BG James? I'm sure there are more (I don't know if Sgt Slaughter was REALLY in the service).
It'll give you time to bulk up, work on your will power, and learn how to defend yourself from various assholes back stage.
I am NOT saying "OMFG! L1$tin tew joor mom & d@d!!!!" I'm just trying to say there's more than one way to go to make it to where you want...

Maybe you can take Terry Funk's advice? Go to school. I hate to rain on anyone but look at how many people want to be wrestlers compared to how many people can support a family on it. I'm not saying it can't be done. Hell, if it couldn't be done there wouldn't be any wrestling. I'm not going to say put your dreams on hold.

Sometimes the detor gets you there faster.

I read he was an actual Boot Camp officer guy before wrestling.
