The Disciples actually turned out quite a few WWE workers. Batista, of course, is the most notable.

Bane became Tyson Tomko and Seven became Mordecai. They had another partner named Payne, who I think was BJ Payne, who worked a few dark matches. Not totally positive about that, though.

Batista won the OVW Heavyweight Title from Machine on 11/28/2001 and held it for three months before losing it to Prototype on 2/20/2002. Machine was Doug Basham, and Prototype was called up under his real name...

John Cena.

I should add that OVW didn't just call him Leviathan. They actually made him out to be a "Creature Of The Deep." Synn conducted some sort of occult ceremony, and it culminated in this 300-pound bald guy rising up out of the water. I can't remember who the Disciples were feuding with that would require her to summon a demon, but whatever.

It had to do with the horrid gimmick as well. He was one of three awful gimmicks that were set to debut. The other two were Kenzo Suzuki coming in as Hirohito, was supposed to be some sort of descendant of a Japanese Emporer and pissed at America for WWII. The other was Heidenreich who was supposed to be... a frozen Nazi. Those two were scrapped. Suzuki had some vignettes, not sure about Heidenreich.

That sounds fucking insane, Does any one have video of this cermony? jesus OVW sounds better then wwe everyday to me, the matches are quite awsome as well.
