High-profile heel vs. heel matches?
For the life of me, I can't recall any high-profile heel vs. heel matches where it didn't end in some type of prank/face turn/trap for a face. Has there ever been any "legitimate" heel vs. heel matches in all of pro wrestling?

There was the classic that was HBK vs Hogan's heel on his right foot.

yea, then HBK vs Martel at Summerslam 92. And there has probably been a few heel/heel matches in tourneys. |

I believe Edge and Christian turned face on the smackdown before the King of the Ring that year.

smackdown 2004
This is not sortof high profile although: wwe champ JBL vs Kurt Angle Angle dominated the match gave Bradshaw 7 german suplex's in a row. He even made him tap when the ref was out cold. The match ended a disqualification owing to Jbl's cabinet. Although Angle was awarded the victory and the better man won. |

It's a shame there weren't more of those type of matches. I always found heel vs. heel matches more entertaining than face vs. face matches. It was always fun watching two heels try to out-cheat each other.

The problem with heel vs. heel matches and especially feuds is that they're virtually impossible to book without an eventual turn because the fans would eventually choose someone to cheer.
